Bad news for Lincoln!

The Pompey manager is up for it 👍

Mousinho is clear Pompey have a moral obligation to perform, however, along with the desire to exit the division in the best manner possible after seven seasons.
‘It was a pretty good thing Wigan were safe and had nothing to play for last weekend and we’re safe in terms of our position.
‘This weekend is different though, because there are plenty of sides who are looking for that final play-off position with Lincoln moving into sixth.
‘So it’s for us to do it right and give us the best possible chance to build a bit of momentum going into next season.’

It's an unpredictable league, the chances of Barnsley, Lincoln, Oxford and ourselves all winning seems unlikely. The biggest issue is that none of the four opposition teams have anything to play for. That could either mean they are on the beach or play with freedom. I expect a few twists and turns on Saturday but am trying not to get too hopeful. The main thing is we win and if that isn't good enough, so be it. The last thing we want is to drop points when 2 of those above us leave the door open.

I suspect he’s trying to alleviate Oxfords concerns given he has a connection to them.
But given the 100 point target can’t be achieved and the championship is wrapped up you can’t help but feel they may lack some intensity and players won’t want to get injured just before their jollies and I don’t think it will be a game that will be scrutinised if they do lose. The managers hardly going to bollock them after the season they have had.
Let’s hope the lack of pressure works in our favour.

I hope Grimmy is practicing heading?

Just in case we need that injury time winner and up he goes.

Actually, scratch that… I’m not sure I could take stress. Cardiff at Wembley was bad enough. Those last 5 mins I thought I’d keel over
I think that might have been sun-stroke Chunky.

'Mousinho is clear Pompey have a moral obligation to perform'

Just covering himself for when they are set up to lose on purpose to help his old club

I’m going to reading with no expectations other than having a good road trip and seeing a new ground - if the unthinkable happens that’s a bonus

Not great if the Champions lose two games in a row.

Portsmouth should beat Lincoln.

Exeter at home to Oxford who are not that good should also win.

Barnsley is nailed on.

Barnsley’s form is dreadful and they have been very wasteful in front of goal at their place recently.
Fortunately for them, Northampton have been equally cráp.

The players were on the p1ss run up to Wigan game and he wasn’t happy, wants them to finish on a high

I actually think all four sides have tough games tomorrow. If any had got one of the relegated teams or one who have just done enough to avoid the drop (ironically we're closest with Lincoln) then I'd say it's a done deal and the other leveller is the nonsense that has gone on at Barnsley.
Shame Lincoln are still in it as if it was just us, Oxford and Barnsley I might fancy us.
