Average attendance next season?

Season ticket sales are impressive despite plastic cardgate
I'm going for 10,250
I said it won't be too far off last season home fan wise, if we do well it'll probably be up in thr home ends.

It's the away end that'll be down.

Should definitely break 10k, which given some of the completely pessimistic predictions would be alright, but hopefully it's more than that.

Depends when some games fall too, like Derby I think on a weeknight, whereas on a weekend ans the full away end is full.

7200 season tickets sold as of last Monday so I’m going 8800 based on season ticket sales, few walk ins and away fans

7209, I remember us struggling to get 6000 home fans for the break the gate fixture. Never in my lifetime have I seen so many young Blackpool fans, we've come so far in spite of everything that's happened.

Where's that from, we passed 7k a while back and people said not hit 8k yet, but the way it read it was like it might have been a possibility.

You won’t get as many away fans so I’ll go 9,000ish
You're not allowing for many home fans who have tickets to attend.

Too pessimistic, we were on the way to that under Grayson and have grown since then.

Ticket office told me last Monday 7200. Said they were surprised as only expected around 6000

However you look at it, the growth off the pitch is remarkable. How it happened im not sure? The premier league or the unity against the Oystons. When I was at school there were 3 or 4 of us in my.entire year who supported Blackpool, now I see tons of youngsters at the game. I just find it incredible. We were a minority in our own town and now we're becoming a majority.

It'll be about 9k, pushing towards 10k if we're doing well with some good attendances towards the end of the season.

But we could still be doing better imo.

Average away following will be about a thousand so I’m going for 9800 as I’m expecting us to do well and crowds increase quite a bit after Xmas .

If it's right that we've sold 7200 season tickets then the average will be 8500-9000. Last 2 seasons have shown that we rarely had more than 1000 single game ticket buyers and the away attendances will be way down. Still very decent at this level though, i'm from a time where you got a bit excited if the crowd was over 5000.

Burton's sales are poor so I can't see us breaking 10k for the first game , probably more like 9k

Given that the average away following will be paltry, I expect the average overall gate to be around 8800, though it will be more if we are pushing for automatic promotion.

9300 based on a good season.

I replied to you personally to say your profile picture gives me the heebie jeebies 🫣 even after all these years!

Anyone who thinks our average will be above 10k is living in cloud cuckoo land.
You already said gates would drop to 5k if not doing well, thats total gate not just home fans, that was way off.

For the opening game, at a guess, I'd say were over 8k sold from looking at the planner as of now, with a week to go and many buy late. That's not including corporate.

If we have the season many want and expect the home numbers will once again surprise people.

Announced attendance will be around 10k. 7,500 ST, 500 hosp, 1,500 walk on, 500 away.

I think the actual attendance will be around 7k. They’ve made it harder to give your ST to a mate if you can’t go, so match day sales might go up, but I bet only about 60% of ST’s turn up

Hoping we’ll be at least a top six side, so I’m thinking around the 10k mark. Obviously hoping for more, which should hopefully come with decent results.

I remember those days well , but I particularly recall being excited when the crowd was over 30,000 !

Let’s all give people a nudge to attend it’s important we get a good start then with a bit of momentum we can hopefully have a good campaign and SS doesn’t have to bankroll it all.

As with any club, success brings fans and worth the board remembering this when deciding if to push the boat out for new players.

Yes, Stuart Barlow was one of those lower league all star type players that seemed to have top flight level ability but never really got to show it outside of the bottom 2 divisions.

Bit like Tony Ellis I suppose, there were a few others that haunted us over the years but Barlow is definitely on the rogues gallery.

If a quarter of the fanbase managed to bring a family member or members with them, it would have a big impact.

There's 2 in my family I'm trying to get back involved, not managed yet but they will come back.

Top 6 by the end of December and if the club play it right and do an early bird second half of the season ticket then I reckon we could have 8000+ ST holders and 10k per game. All depends on how we do (as it does with every team).
Bear in mind that we are coming at this from a position of no momentum, dissatisfaction at least season and a cost of living crisis and so I think we're doing OK.

It will start near enough 10000. Then it’s down to results.
That's it for me .. Port Vale will bring a few .. not so sure about Orient but by then a good start and I think we'll be heading towards those totals.
There is a bit of pressure for that good start isn't there!

I will be very surprised if there is 10k there on Saturday, they will bring no more than 500 and I can’t see us having 9500 ! Love to be proved wrong though .

I think some clubs will surprise a few on here and bring good followings. Blackpool away is seen as a bender weekend for most fans.
