We've seen us be at points very good, quite often mediocre and sometimes shite.

Owt could happen next.

We could go on a run of any of the above or have a few games of each.

Always bemused me how much time we spend predicting the future.

Fwiw, gun to my head, I have a feeling we'll have a good run and then fall just short with the points we've dropped against limited teams being in someway to blame but fuck knows if that's true.

However, if you asked me again. I can also imagine us going on a relentless run with Rhodes coming back in just at the right point and us smashing all comers.

Then again. I can see the season fizzling out in tetchy acrimony and horrible defeats and me spending hours defending Jimmy Husband after he scores three own goals on the trot.

I honestly don't know.

I selected "aye" but if the ride is us not reaching the playoffs (tbf I would settle for us maybe just missing out if we started to show some consistent signs that we aren't completely shite and bereft of all motivation/ideas) then it will be a really shit ride that isn't enjoyable at all probably.

The ride is only enjoyable because of the not knowing though. The journey to an unappealing or disappointing destination can be fun!

It's a lovely drive to Middlesbrough for example. Approaching Widnes looks grand at night with all the twinkling lights from the chemical works...

You go to Middlesbrough via Widnes?

My heart always said we'd sneak in last minute.
Head annoyingly predicted 7th.

It's never over until it's over though, and we are Blackpool. We have our own unique way of doing everything the hard way at times.

If we do fall short I sincerely hope it isn't for the want of trying.
That in itself will be frustrating as hell when you look back at the multitude of points thrown away to dross over tge season.
Just roll your sleeves up and get at em.
As Danny Murphy said on Motd last night, supporters want to be entertained

I've only been to Bolton away and we didn't play too bad there, it took a cracking strike to separate the two sides, consequently I haven't witnessed the shit show of our away form. At home we've seen far more wins than losses and some periods of good football so I've quite enjoyed this season, put me in the content to see how it all pans out collum.

It's been one of those weeks when we have had all 3 results, Oxford, did okay, really needed to win, Cheltenham, utter utter shite and a loss and a good win against a very good Posh side and that really sums up our season, I still think we'll end up with 69 points because we will carry on as we have been doing. Is that good enough, no I don't think so, there is usually a team that comes steaming into the play offs on the last game of the season. Could it be us? It could, but personally I can't see it just because of a very good win yesterday, If we win the next 4 league games ask me again.

Everyone in the media are calling West Ham fans entitled tossers for saying Moyes has to go for getting them 8th in the Premier League...
West Ham fans are just tossers on every level.
On the O/P let’s see what happens with hope in our hearts, yesterday was a massive win, we have a virtually fit squad with Rhodes to come back soon, other clubs are stuttering and we Are only two extra wins off the pace.

Maybe. Who knows where the wind will blow us? Don't be so constrained by convention and sat nav.
Living in the 'un-posh' part of Cheshire, I can say with some authority that Widnes is the only place I know where the birds have a cough!
You're particularly wise to keep upwind of the West Bank area , which is best described on tripadvisor .....

"West Bank is nice, but the smell from the Granox bone rendering factory is awful."

I still believe my prediction that we will scrape into the play-offs. However, I wouldn't bet anything on it, so I voted 'who knows'.

This is the thing about supporting Blackpool, in the space of a few days it takes you from the misery of Cheltenham to the elation of yesterday. We are now presented with the opportunity of securing a Wembley final which in turn would give a major boost going into the derby against Bolton.

We shouldn't forget that P'boro could have easily been two or three goals up in the first half so we need to keep our feet on the ground. It will be interesting to see how both managers approach Tues semi-final.

They could, but maybe Lavery should have done better with a header over, and Byers beat the keeper to a high ball and it was headed off the line.

Second half, Dembele missed a header that he should have scored with, the linesman gave a penalty but the ref waved play on...

We had twice as many shots as them, both on and off target.

Based on this season, I'd say the Hubby hat-trick is more likely.
I think the cup successes in all three competitions have eased the pain of this season and maybe given it a false sense of that we've done OK, however 11 defeats is three times as many as Pompey, almost twice as many as Derby and Bolton and only one more than Wycombe in 15th place! 11 defeats in a league where I've only seen maybe 2/3 performances from opposition teams that I've been impressed with is poor.
