Appletons time is up. Even he realises that.

There have been times this season where the players have performed for themselves by the camaraderie built up with promotion etc but at no point have they looked happy playing under Appleton. Last night s performance was the players saying we don't believe in the manager. Its time now for the manager to be sacked.

I'd consider, strongly, getting a new CEO as Mansford has been found wanting in all areas to do with the football. Or keep him on to do the infrastructure role but we need an experienced football man before its too late.

It is too late ,in my opinion.

Couldn’t fathom why Appleton made the “big” gesture of clapping all sides of the ground & making the players do the same last night?

Unless, he says hopefully, it was his farewell good byes ? 🤞

The players were up for Reading, it was the 1st game of the season. They played well against former Prem teams Shef Utd, Watford, Norwich and fought well against local rivals Burnley and Preston. Arguably all games the manager didn't need to say anything in terms of motivation. Pretty much every other game, Coventry aside, we've looked off the pace. Do these players want to play for Appleton, is he training them too hard but not coaching them enough. It's mad how after back-to-back wins we have nosedived so badly, is it all down to tiredness and injuries? The World Cup break can't come soon enough.

He’s got to go. There’s literally zero logic in keeping him at the club. If we’re gonna improve after a break and we’ve got players back from injury then we’ll improve under any manager. I’ve seen enough from Appleton to know he’s out of his depth. The fit players have got worse. The football is atrocious and the positivity is gone.

A new manager may not be any better but we’re at a point now where it can’t be any worse and a fresh start, simply for the positivity it would bring to the club, could be enough to at least get a tune out of this squad.

You stated in the title that:

"Even he realises that".

Yet you make no statement as to why he realises that? Therefore, why include it in the title, wouldn't it have been better just to put - 'Appleton's time is up'?

It was a strange one - almost like he was being sarcastic because of the boos
