Well past his best, but what a career in politics: hope he doesn`t tarnish his legacy too much by staying on out of hubris.

Don`t know whether we can really criticise American leaders after the **wits that we have elected, and the self-inflicted sanction of Brexit...

To be fair the British public didn’t elect either Liz Truss or Rishi Sunak. That’s down to a load of old geriatrics who applied for membership of the Tory Party about 50 years ago.

Strange definition of democracy we have in the U.K.

This is probably an election where more focus is on the Vice President ie the successor.

With Biden it’s Kamala.

With Trump it’s about who’s able to Kiss His Ass the most. In the hope of getting the biggest prize. Probably a female. Appealing to the red meat MAGAs whilst being able to balance loyalty and I love rimming Donald without going full blooded dipshit can’t come back from this. There’s a few candidates. Mostly flakes.
 
He’s done it again, after he tried to defend the disastrous report into his alleged holding of classified documents, in which he was described as an elderly man with a poor memory, he answered a question on Gaza and said the president of Mexico, Al Sisi did not want to open the gate to Gaza. Mexico, Egypt, Mitterrand, Khol, the list goes on.
 
Was reading a little in this investigation, by special counsel. Turns out he was a Republican, who asked about all sort of stuff unrelated to the investigation. The outcome was no case to answer, the perfect storm for Trump. Never went to court so it could be answered, but will allow them to keep bringing up untested gossip.

It’s not for us to decide, I feel sorry for the American people having to choose between these two, Biden is clearly losing his marbles and Trump is quite possibly going to be charged with something serious out of all the charges against him. He’s also America first, and that won’t be good for us. It’s a shocking choice which will have major consequences for the world.

Dave you're bang on. The President is the focus of the election, vastly more than the party leaders are in Britain. The way things are looking the States are going to elect a criminally treacherous insurrectionist as their next leader. And people on here rage against a European Defence Force. It may become the only hope we have of keeping mad Vlad at bay. It might be time to kick the USA out of NATO and tell them to concentrate on the threat from China.
 
Nothing better in the uk. Just an illusion of being so. Labour or conservative does it really make a difference. Any good leaders around the world when Covid was making the rounds? Maybe ja in nz. The tragedy in the land of the free and the home of the brave is that you can’t vote none of the above. America is in many ways an unrealized dream and it will be broken from within by uncontrolled immigration putting a strain on services and by the erosion of what it means to be an American starting with the pledge of allegiance quietly disappearing from schools and technology spoon feeding bias to customers once it discerns your likes and dislikes. Listening and appreciating a different perspective is going the way of the dodo.

He’s at it again, he’s now talking about aid into Gaza and said Ukraine twice by mistake. I don’t care what doctors said, he’s not fit to be president of the free world. The USA is even more of a mess than us politically.

It really does make me wonder who is pulling Bidens' strings.
A t his age he should have retired long ago, but these guys just don't how/when to stop.
He always looks as if he's in a daze when I see him on TV.
I can't understand the Democrats policy.
He's years older than even I am, and I retired many years ago.
