I see the BBC have chosen American Alicia Keys performing in LA to bring in the new year.

I have no intentions of watching but surely they could have found a British artist in a British location to give this iconic slot too given the fact most of them are doing F all at the moment.

I’m sure America’s TV corporate won’t be giving the New Years slot to James Blunt live in Dagenham.
