Worst goal scorers in the league and we concede 5 - that is a massive problem.
Eki is ok in a, 4 but very poor in a 3.that is why he got dropped. If we are playing 3 would rather Tharme than Eki TBH.Need a keeper that saves a few shots every now and then. Unreal how he has declined. Egg plant was shocking too.
Yes it seemsRe: Cheltenham- Am I the only one who doesn’t care that we conceded because we still won?!
3 points. I’m not arsed if we got complacent because we put it to bed and broke our Tuesday night duck.
It also asks what is happening in front of our defence.I suppose it does ask the question who is our best defence?
What's cautious about ...The maddest thing is, we’re being cautious in setting up and letting in loads of goals
A flat midfield 3 against some teams is far too cautious. I get it at Oxford away but not at home to Leyton Orient or away at Fleetwood. What's cautious about ...
Pennington Marv Hubby
Dougall
CJ Carey TOB Dale
Kouassi Rhodes
I urge for greater caution!
We had 5 forwards on the pitch and TOB staying too far forward. Dougall overloaded.
I've watched it twice through, and Carey and Boothe don't sit, they get well ahead of the ball a lot of the time. And the commentators cremarked about it, and the difficulty Dougall had dealing with it in his own. I suspect Boothe don't d not play according to his instructions. And got hooked at half time.A flat midfield 3 against some teams is far too cautious. I get it at Oxford away but not at home to Leyton Orient or away at Fleetwood.
Anytime we broke Wednesday there was nobody ahead of Dougall (between the lines) to play into which meant us going backwards or sideways.
Two sitting and one advanced in midfield.
You might not see this on the telly
We’re playing a sitter and 2 either side of this, it’s like a DM, RCM and a LCM or in the modern world a 6 and 2 8’s.I've watched it twice through, and Carey and Boothe don't sit, they get well ahead of the ball a lot of the time. Carey was up with the forwards a lot, and Oak Booth was just wandering around dazed. We should have made a concussion substitution and put Connolly on to help Kenny out. We’re playing a sitter and 2 either side of this, it’s like a DM, RCM and a LCM or in the modern world a 6 and 2 8’s.
The issue is that as you said Dougall is left on his own but we can’t get the ball forward quick enough to the other two who are stuck rigid in their positions. They might be more advanced but they aren’t available for the ball much or it doesn’t give us a better opportunity to attack.
Watch it a 3rd time but like I said on a telly as it’s following the ball you might not get a clearer picture of this. I saw it happening 1st half.
We need two sitting and 1 advanced.
