19points by the start of December

This used to be the benchmark for a successful relegation fight as for some reason we generally have a better 2nd half .
Will we achieve it this season or is the jury out?

I think we will. We've got a clutch of 'better' teams coming up, and for some reason we always seem to play better against so called quality teams. (See Fulham, Blackburn, Shef U) last season.

I’m thinking we will be bottom three by December with lots to do

Well we have 11 games between now and then (although I presume we play 2/3 more than we usually do because of the World Cup) - looking at those games I'd like to think we'll have at least a point a game but predict around 15 - which gives cause for optimism but the fact we'll miss out on 18 points means the board will have many more meltdown moments.
