10 cases in Blackpool

A very low number compared to our population. Seven per 100000. We are fourth from the bottom of the table of cases per area. I know the vast majority that have covid-19 have not been tested, but it's still a figure comparable to other areas.

Why is this? Obviously, being a long way from London and on a peninsula help. Is there more to it than that, or do you expect to see a big rise in the number of cases here soon?

Sadly this is correct, I think the case numbers and death numbers are a day or more behind.

Her ward was a new ward set up just for Covid19....... it’s not even an intensive care ward

that is the figure on the bbc website. fy8 says there are more in the community.
As said it may be a day behind although it shows todays date on the bbc website for the article.
