An interview from this morning on the OS.
Not sure if it was discussed already
Seems like more of the “possession” from the first half against Port Vale to come

I’m with you, he’s had long enough, if you add the time he was here before. A lot of players were here last time and surely professional players should be able to quickly adapt. He’s just making excuses.Throwing in excuses already to bide more time?
We will not accept negative square & backwards possession, especially if we want promotion!
Zzzzzzz
He said, very clearly, Beez hasn’t played 3 games in a row for a long time so risk of injury, and we want him for the season so he rested him. What is his excuse for playing one striker in a home game and it being lumped long to a midget ??? That is nothing about giving it time .. that is simply a weird decision .
recently watched the Burnley documentary and last season they started off by dropping a load of points by drawing games they definitely should have won.
Wonder how many of their fans cried like little girls after a few games?
Yes they were but it took time to adapt.Yes but were they playing possession based football early doors?
of course they was yes.Yes but were they playing possession based football early doors?
Loads did, like thousandsrecently watched the Burnley documentary and last season they started off by dropping a load of points by drawing games they definitely should have won.

And those thousands were proven wrong as the season went on, weren’t they? Maybe they should have waited a little longer before throwing their toys out the pram.Loads did, like thousands
Did you listen the Radio Lancs show after our draw?
of course they was yes.
Despite that being our best chance of getting promotion?Throwing in excuses already to bide more time?

Presumably a lack of other options, Joseph is injured, Beesley is just back from a season out and is struggling with 90 minutes, let alone 4 games in 10 days, Madine has left the club and Harry Kane went to Germany instead. What is his excuse for playing one striker in a home game and it being lumped long to a midget ??? That is nothing about giving it time .. that is simply a weird decision .
We need Simon to remind NC, that he stated when he bought the club, that he wanted attractive, attacking football. We need McCarthy back, lump it forward and hope!
Or perhaps have some patience, back the coach and the team!
That's what I'd like to know. What is his excuse for playing one striker in a home game and it being lumped long to a midget ??? That is nothing about giving it time .. that is simply a weird decision .
So who would you have played alongside him? That's what I'd like to know.
Well strangely I would have played the other available striker at the club … who came on and we improved !!So who would you have played alongside him?
Aimless lumping? Thats what we do now half of the time, but to the, probably, shortest # 9 in the division.Despite that being our best chance of getting promotion?
Who's this 'we' you speak of? You're not speaking for me and my mates for starters.
Bring back aimless lumping. Went really well last season.
I’m all for giving the team and Critch time and the overreaction this week has been ridiculous.recently watched the Burnley documentary and last season they started off by dropping a load of points by drawing games they definitely should have won.
Wonder how many of their fans cried like little girls after a few games?
So what are you wittering about not wanting to keep the ball?Aimless lumping? Thats what we do now half of the time, but to the, probably, shortest # 9 in the division.
Not comparing us to Burnley in terms of ability, nor am I expecting us to play in the same manner.I’m all for giving the team and Critch time and the overreaction this week has been ridiculous.
However, we’re not comparable to Burnley at all.
Different football, different budgets, different league.
I appreciate that he’s trying to play more on the front foot as opposed to what we saw at times during his last stint, I see the vision, it’s not there yet, but I trust him and we will show patience for him.
Keeping the ball and doing something constructive with it are two entirely different things. So what are you wittering about not wanting to keep the ball?
Critchley has said its a work in progress and will get better.Keeping the ball and doing something constructive with it are two entirely different things.
You get to bump your thread too.The fact were able to dominate possession like we do shows we ain't that bad, a little bit more quality in the final 3rd and we'll piss League 1 and I get too bump my thread!
I haven’t got toys, I haven’t been in a pram for 80+ years, I just happen to think Critchley has one way of playing and it’s bloody boring. It was the same the first time he was here and it’s no different now. So with, or without, your kind permission I will have an opinion and express it. That’s my prerogative, yours is read it or not.Critchley has said its a work in progress and will get better.
Stop the toys throwing and have some patience.
EhAnd those thousands were proven wrong as the season went on, weren’t they? Maybe they should have waited a little longer before throwing their toys out the pram.
No I didn’t listen, the last thing I want to do is listen to people think it’s the end of the world after 3 league games without conceding a goal.
I actually wouldn’t mind if people were having these moans and complaints if we’re still toothless 15 games into the season and don’t look like getting anywhere.
Important comma needed after fig.We got battered last season, we had 3 different coaches, it will still be on the players minds and will take time to eradicate. I was as pissed off as anyone with the performance v PV, but I've had a word with myself. NC though will never play mad attacking expansive football, but I do not give a fig if he delivers.
To be honest most of what Critchley says is bull shitCritchley has said its a work in progress and will get better.
Stop the toys throwing and have some patience.
The guy who's missed the whole of last season with injury, and has struggled to do 60 minutes so far this one.Well strangely I would have played the other available striker at the club … who came on and we improved !!
