Perhaps Nike can introduce a discreet Swastika onto the Kraut's shirt, purely as a playful twist of course!
So why are you getting upset by it? The majotity of England kits haven't had the English flag on them either.the key here is that if it isn't a red cross on a white background then it isn't a St Georges cross. It's that simple. There are no variations of it when it comes to colour. Any change of colour and then it is not a St Georges cross so therefore not the flag of England.
And no one would have been bothered if the George cross wasn't on it, but putting a so called playful version is just wrong. Either put the George cross or dontSo why are you getting upset by it? The majotity of England kits haven't had the English flag on them either.

It looks a bit like it but it's literally different colours. Objectively, they are different colours. So if you are arguing it's close enough so that means it's definitely the same, then you also agree it's the St.Georges Cross, since it looks a bit like it, and you won't have a problem with people saying Blackpool play in orange, since that's a bit similar to tangerine.View attachment 18829looks bi to me foggy
Can't disagree with any that. The only "disgraceful" aspect of this is the price people are expected to pay for these shirts. No argument there, it objectively isnt and I can see why people would want the actual accurate St.George's flag, I probably think it should have it too. But as evident in this thread different variations of it have been commonplace on kits for decades now and never mustered this much manufactured outrage. I think a more rational response against it would be something like 'good/bad kit overall but I would prefer the accurate flag and it's well over priced". Basically reasonable calm disagreements over a design choice. Think "disgraceful" is a tad melodramatic and the fallout from this exceptionally funny.
i suggest you read my posts on this thread. So why are you getting upset by it? The majotity of England kits haven't had the English flag on them either.
I have done, you've been somewhat contradictory. Is it a flag or isn't it?i suggest you read my posts on this thread.
ah right, so you want to ignore my posts where i say if there isn't a flag on the shirt it's not a problem. and lets's face it that was what your point was!I have done, you've been somewhat contradictory. Is it a flag or isn't it?
I could do that and just go with the comments where you're complaining about flags on shirts but... oh fuck it... crack on!ah right, so you want to ignore my posts where i say if there isn't a flag on the shirt it's not a problem. and lets's face it that was what your point was!
nah, you just got it wrong because you fucked up/I could do that and just go with the comments where you're complaining about flags on shirts but... oh fuck it... crack on!
Have they messed with "our flag" or is it not a flag?that's how things work though. Something gets noticed and then it starts to get commented on. Fact of the matter is that the flag of England is red and white. And that is what it should be. Every other countries fans would be outraged if their flag changed colour. How about putting orange stripes on the Irish tricolour? They just wouldn't do it and they shouldn't mess with our flag either.
you tell me. if its not a flag then what's it doing on the shirt.Have they messed with "our flag" or is it not a flag?
I have no idea, flags normally get put on flagpoles but I'm not the one saying they shouldn't mess with our flag. Do we need to put guards on flagpoles now?you tell me. if its not a flag then what's it doing on the shirt.
Wouldn’t go as far as shite. Some good moments from some of our younger lads. But it’s painful watching the likes of Chilwell and Rashford turn out for England. They’re so far from world class it’s unrealWe were shite !!! Goodnight.
How is it woke?Don
Are you really at a loss to think that this is any way woke ?
I'm sure both Nike and the FA knew exactly what they were doing but it seems that it's cooler to pretend to be surprised why some might question the design.
I'm not sure that too many are considering this to be a life or death matter but I'm sure that plenty who are claiming it's not an issue know exactly why some might not be overjoyed at the design.
What is "the problem"?It's the backbone of what this country was built on, nothing to do with telling people what to do. It should be bred into you from birth and people like you Phillip are part of the problem, pandering to all this bull. Did you not get chinned in the Rose & Crown for spouting your lefty crap?
I’d hazard a guess the answer to this isn’t ’straight, white and male’What is "the problem"?
Never met a bisexual. Got loads of gay mates but none have ever swung the other way or fancied a dabble with the other sex.View attachment 18829looks bi to me foggy
What colour is the Union Flag?that's how things work though. Something gets noticed and then it starts to get commented on. Fact of the matter is that the flag of England is red and white. clearly a spoof. Anyway why haven't you replied to my post on the City finance thread? Is it because you dug a massive hole by contradicting yourself. What colour is the Union Flag?
Those most outraged probably vote Tory and UKIP...
Not a spoof at all. Posters from various campaigns.clearly a spoof. Anyway why haven't you replied to my post on the City finance thread? Is it because you dug a massive hole by contradicting yourself.
but none of those flags claim to represent England do they? Not a spoof at all. Posters from various campaigns.
2012 Olympics kit designed by Stella McCartney took away the red. Don't recall any outrage.
So it's fine to muck about with the UK flag?but none of those flags claim to represent England do they?
deflect. Look pretty red to me.So it's fine to muck about with the UK flag?
Pedant. I'm sure I can find plenty of Blackpool 'St Georges' flags in tangerine.
