We need some good news from the club

We drove Mansford out for being too vocal and communicating too much. Now it’s not enough by Winters et al.

There’s a strong building desire for Sadler to sell by posters on Avftt. He’s spending £5m a year and that’s classed as stagnating and lacking ambition.

If he can sell it, we are going to need to find a new owner who will fund £50-60m for a new East stand and new training ground. He will need to spend £10-15m a season to meet our ambition as £5m is constantly stated as not enough.

That will need to be more like £25-30m a season in the Championship as the Nobbers constantly fail on £20m a season.
Well said. The cloud cuckoo mob is out in full force again.

£5 mill is the club running at a loss, where’s all the money from players the club has sold, plus the critch compo.I saw a chart where he was willing to invest £90 million over the next 10 years. So where’s other £4 mill gone,or is there £80 mill still in the kitty?
Don’t be so thick.

£5m investment he is making which is clear in the club accounts includes player sales and manager compo. Pots are not ring fenced. It’s income in costs out.
Hes on course to spend £50m in ten years on the club and playing staff with the East and Training ground capital outlay on top.

Maybe it's £5m a year for ten years plus £40m for the East stand and training ground?

Pretty simple bit of maths tbh.

If we'd been told 5 years ago that a new owner had been chosen and he would sort out all the mess left by the Oystons, add £5m to the budget every year for ten years, and build a new stand and a new training ground, we would have been cocker hoop. Most of us anyway. People soon readjust and decide the new bloke has got to go.

I'm glad you beat me to this response. It's folk like this that hound good owners out. He's probably expecting a 20 goal striker to be funded from his £360 season ticket. 😂

Failure on the pitch for another season and all this murky stuff with our owner

Sack Critchley and get fans back on side with an exciting new manager along with some decent new players and a clear identity of how the club will move forward

Over to you Sadler
We are stuck with Critchley for at least 10 games next season, if we don’t start well he will be gone.
Player recruitment is key, we need to use Apter correctly as well.

Doesn't mean he's spending it wisely though. Supporters care about results and performances on the pitch more than anything and there is nothing that will convince me that Sadler is incompetent in regard to this. He's wasted his money so far.

Sadler isn’t getting much for his money which makes his decision making even more curious

And all this talk of massive further investment remains just that. A start on delivery might change a lot of things but this latest cloud over our club will in my view 100% delay development.

I remain unconvinced Mr Sadler

The only negative for me is that Critchley is still here. He has managed to suck the life out of the club since returning.

Yes I blame SS for that, and for not understanding what happened in the last 6 months of Critchley’s first term. The writing was on the wall in big tangerine capitals, but owning a club is never straightforward.

If I were SS I wouldn’t risk a penny more on Critchley. SS simply can’t risk giving Critchley money to waste. Get rid and start again, which would boost morale and ST sales. Sometimes you’ve just got to hold your hands up, that you got it wrong. Keeping Critchley is delaying the inevitable and could be catastrophic next season.

It’s not going to be easy and we cannot afford to have the ground in total silence like it has been. Nobody is asking for top 2, but it’s not wrong to be entertained and see your team fighting for the shirt.

What’s happening in HK will be a major distraction for SS. I get that his focus will be on that, and I’m sure we all wish him well. At the same time, he’ll need his senior people at the club to give him the honest facts, including the mood of fans. If he chooses to stick with Critchley then he will only have himself to blame.

Top two was attainable this season but won’t be next season. Critchley has spaffed away our chances of an instant return with his sterile unambiguously dour approach.

Next season under Critchley will start with a new batch of players and up and down performances (45 mins of half decent every other game) with time to gel being trotted out, then we’ll have a run of really uninspiring results and our usual Christmas leaving us broadly nowhere. And he’ll then be pleading for reinforcements in January by which time we will all have lost the will to live I fear.

It’s all so predictable. And it will be turgid. Roll up for your season tickets!

Clappers you have sold it to me… I can’t wait now 😂😂

Well said Clappers, uninspiring says it all 👍
Such a shame that Simon doesn’t see it the same way ☹️

Connolly got released. Great news if you ask me

come down then,it was £90 mill showing at the 2023 diolouge meeting,I’m not thick, might not be aswell educated as you,but not thick, stop being rude,ya big bully.

I can’t even begin to get interested I’d be logging into news now every hour and on here everyday I’ve never been so uninterested since the boycott years we all know we’ve got half a season of Neil which equals half a season wasted there’s no chance I’m buying another season ticket while he’s manager

Chunky lad what will you be able to buy in ten years,a couple of bridcuts and injury notes, how can a owner even state what he is putting into the club, what if we were to get
Talking of smokescreens. Good evening, Kev.

Last season, we were a relegated club from The Championship and therefore got some quality loanees. Even so, a lot of points were saved by Ekpiteta's last ditch tackling and Grimshaw's superb saves.
With Ekpiteta not on the retained list, if Neil Critchley persists with a back three, we will ship goals for fun.
🧡UTMP🧡

I don't sense that. I sense frustration at some of the decisions he makes but he's a hedge fund manager and not a football man - of course he'll make mistakes. My only problem with Sadler (and this is more to do with the people he's employed) is the growing disconnect between fans and the club.

Don’t go then?

Going back to the original post, we really do need some good news, the club has been going backwards for 2 and a half years and it is continuing to decline. There is no joy around the place. The most boring manager in the universe, a squad of robots playing out of position and an owner who just doesn't cut the mustard. What an opportunity we had after the legendary trial and award to Belokon and the end of the vermin. We should be wallowing in the goodness of it all and yet it is absolutely shite. The club needs a new owner with shit loads of money and a manager with some flair and an eye for a player. The place is dead again and it only looks like it will get worse.

This has nothing to do with communication and everything to do with boring tactics that will potentially will turn 50% of the fanbase into Firestick fannies.
50%. 😂 you ate by far the biggest fanny ever to post on here or the older site and that includes HP41

Yeah a new owner with shit loads of money….and you can start with another bullshit agenda against them.
The current owner has shit loads of money and has invested plenty of it.
