Only managed 1 press briefing since his return.

He clearly can’t sack Cummsack as there will be nobody to pull his strings.
 
Complete cowardice from Bozo. It was obvious every question would be about Cummings. Shapps has been shafted.

He certainly is, he’s been thrown to the lions but Shapps is one of the few ministers who’s doing ok. But Jenny is making sure that she provides the scientific and technical advise.

I almost feel sorry for Shapps. He's on a hiding to nothing and deep down, he knows Cummings has broken the spirit of what everyone else has kept to.

To be fair he was never really known for his work ethic.

Although his record for spending public money on American Entrepreneurs with alleged IT skills and lap dancing poles in their East London flat, suggests he has a certain je ne sais quois - I don’t know what it is really.
 
Don’t you know its MPs Half Term - only 2 weeks off for a break then back to the grind! But hey as they voted to resume physical attendance in Parliament and cancel remote voting this means - given that it would be illegal to travel from Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland - that only 50 of the remaining English MPs will be able to actually sit in the House of Commons and be able to vote - You wanted to “take back control” - this is it.

It's embarrassing how weak a leader he is . . . when there are questions to be answered he goes missing and only re appears to deliver what he perceives as good news.

Let's just hope there is a complete vote of no confidence in this excuse for a human being and he gets shown the door.
 
Aside from the fact he's been ill, which I accept must have floored him, I am starting to wonder whether he's either suffering some side effects of this virus or he's preoccupied with child number whatever it is or hes being sidelined.
Alternatively he could be hiding in a fridge.

It was mentioned at the time of his discharge from hospital that it could take many months of recuperation to get well enough to be able to return to work, for anybody, never mind someone with such a demanding job. I think he returned too quickly and is now paying for it.
 
It's not this stage managed, protected and shielded press briefing I'm interested in. It's the upcoming PMQ when 'The Great Pretender' has to face Sir 'Surgical Knife' Starmer.

The HoC is now in recess so the next PMQ is a week on Wed l think. Shame that if Boris comes out with wrong message at 5 it would be very feisty at PMQ.

Bozo just wants this to blow away but it has seriously infuriated some high powered tories like Steve Baker of the 1922 committee plus the tory rags are printing all sorts. Danger for Bozo to let it go and danger if he doesn't. Crying shame for him Ha!
