Where did your mum and dad meet

In a sanatorium for TB in mid-Wales. Dad was the patient and Mum the nurse just after the war....

Blackpool, my dad was colour sergeant throwing the mace all the way down Abingdon Street. His performance made the Gazette and my mum was among the crowd. Eyes met and that was it.

Blackpool somewhere on the front. My Mum's Blackpool born & bred, my Dad's a Scot who was doing his national service in the RAF (Carlisle probably). He would've been on leave at the time.

Tower ballroom. My Dad impressed my Mum by offering her a lift home (He has a car! - it was the fifties), no it was the works van.

Cosy Caff, egg and chips then a quick knee trembler behind the chapel on Layton Cemetery.

39 and a bit years and nine months later here I am...

My mam was going with a guy my dad was freindly with for a few months, they split and my parents got together and had me after a year, mam was 17 my father 18, none are 50 yet

They met when they both worked at Aer Lingus in Dublin in the late 40s and early 50s. Mum was an air hostess when it was a glamorous job, flying to Paris and Rome and the like. Dad worked in one of the offices.
