Is going to be a PR disaster and put plenty off purchasing one at a time we wall need to get behind our club.
It last 24 hrs someone I work with his wife and 2 kids, couple of lads and their mates have all said no and will pay as they go along and we all know when the weather turns folk can't be arsed.

Not everyone is dedicated to BFC and the I-follow idea is a non starter this is a spectacular own goal.
The ticket office being closed stopping non internet users isn't helping either.

Erm... A PR disaster???

Not sure about that. The club needs income, in uncertain times, the club had to produce a plan and the I follow alternative is not a bad idea if games can't be attended.
SS is investing in our club and deserves to be backed by the supporters.
What is a disaster, is effectively removing the option for around 60% of the fan base to pay monthly by using V12 Retail Finance.
It literally makes no sense to use that option.
I'm contacting the club to try and get them to look at this daft idea.

Of course is a PR disaster it's putting fans of buying yet they offered a refund for last season but if your stopped from going you get nowt.
We may get to go to all the games but the discount will have gone and people won't have bought.

They did offer a refund for lost games for the season just ended. That's true and the club can't keep giving and giving.
Your issue seems to be with maximum value for money. Unfortunately, the club can't guarantee that. If you can't go to the game because of the pandemic, you get to see it another way. It's still a good deal.
It's time for the fans to commit to the club financially. Everyone should buy a season ticket if they can, the issue I have, is excluding many from paying it in manageable installments.

I agree with the credit arrangements not ideal but not everyone is thinking your way and not offering a refund before your selling a product is a wrong way of doing things and watching it on a crap stream is not a good deal.

I think this is a poor post, to be honest. I-follow is not something I want either, but as an alternative to not being able to attend in person it is the best the club could currently offer.

You seem to be forgetting that the club has been haemorrhaging money for months and needs to take in as much revenue as it can get. Bending over backwards to accommodate people who "can't be arsed" unless everything is perfect is not something I think they should be wasting much effort on.

Hopefully people will buy a ST or even a membership, but I feel personal circumstances will play a big part in this years sales especially with companies restructuring with the uncertainty that surrounds them at this time. I bought my ST today, and I'm content with the streaming option as a fall back. PR disaster, I see your point but I just think they are just working with the hand that has been dealt them, and are doing there best to give value for money. I've been more than happy with the work that has been done to date and I'm sure this will continue only with our support. I won't judge people if they don't buy, but if you a fortunate to be in steady employment and can afford it, why wouldn't you.

You buy one if you can afford it, and don't if you can't. I really don't see what option the club has. We've been completely revamping the squad and those players will be paid regardless of whether we're there or not. The club needs money for its ambitious plans. That means people backing them.

In these straitened times I fully understand why some can't and that's fair enough. For some to question what the club is doing seems a little out of order, especially when the tickets are substantially less than many of our divisional rivals.

Ambition costs. That's the bottom line. Personally, as I see it, not only are the club getting players in, but there's also a clear strategy. For me, that makes my relatively small investment worthwhile, regardless of whether I'm actually in the ground.

When we're promoted I'll be celebrating.

I will get one but I totally agree not having the ticket office open or at least pay over the phone is not good. Most of my friends are not bothering as we don’t know when we can go, we obviously can’t sit close together and corporate I will imagine be closed a good while yet. I e mailed the Club but so far no response.

I totally agree with that sentiment and I also will be in about 10 mins if my son has remembered to update the system allowing me to purchase tickets get two!

But it ain't about me and you WIz we would get them anyway the floaters are being put off with the uncertainty like the Lad who works with me he was going to get four for his family now not and the only reason was the statement about no refunds and others feel the same.

I know the club was put in a difficult situation but annoucing this a lot are going not to bother.

Fair enough. But I repeat, in these unprecedented times I don't see how the club can guarantee refunds when there's no clarity as and when we might get in the ground. It could be as soon as 1st October if some stories are to be believed, and maybe the club could discount the couple of games missed, but equally, it could be a lot further down the line and financially, no business can promise that far in advance. As far as I can tell from my limited research, no other clubs are promising refunds at our level. That's the nature of lower league football without the safety net of TV millions.

But have they announced that they definitely won't refund if games are behind closed doors?
Massive difference and said nothing.

Was never going to buy a ST but when I have in the past, have always done it in instalments - is this right?
