Sunderland blog on Blackpool concerns.

I think it's fair to say both sets of fans are a bit wary and see these two games as pivotal to the run in.
Its all about what happens on the day but we are more than capable of winning both games (as are they) which would have a massive impact on the 'automatics'.

Fair write up that. Thanks for posting
I’d just like to say IMO critchley says as soon as a game is over it’s forgotten about and the next game is what’s more important each game as it comes . I don’t mind Sunderland but there big headed fans wind me up. There in league one for a reason and when they were in the pre-K it was always a game I avoided to watch

It's worrying that other teams are worrying about us though!
We just need to start worrying about them more than they are worrying about us. Regain the initiative.

Our poor start to the season got us into a very strong position. While everyone was panicking, some of us (blessed with unusually deep insight) could see this massive advantage developing. Sadler bought a new defence and midfield, he was so worried. Other teams forgot about us. The rest is history. Or will be soon. 😃

It was a very interesting write up, but we must firstly concentrate on Lincoln and Accrington.
When it comes to playing Sunderland, we MUST overpower and impose our game on them, like the Gillingham match on Monday.
If we go into the match changing the side to try and suppress their forwards, it will end up like the Ipswich away match, which was awful to watch.

Not sure about that. Sunderland won't want to drop 4 points. And neither should we.

As things stand Sunderland will be desperate to avoid the lottery of the playoffs now that they are so close to the automatic mix and this could be to our advantage psychologically.
I agree though both teams will be going flat out for the 3 points.

You are right, they might be tenser than us. Psychology is a big factor at this stage I'm sure. Critch and co need to take the pressure off the players, the life or death thing. Whatever will be will be. They have to accept that the outcome will take if itself. Etc.

How long have you worked for MI6, Voyeur?

Critch will have done his homework.

Personally I see Pool playing the same way until the end of the season.
To try to turn then into defensive playing would be a big mistake.

I love Sunderland fans over-confidence earlier this week ... which after yesterday's defeat has suddenly disappeared!
