Found it hard to gauge him tonight.

Think he’s miles off being up to game speed, but there’s a obviously something there he has a nice touch and always seems to be available for the ball.

Shooting practice in the morning.

Great performance .
I am always critical when someone posts that a player has missed a “sitter“ when it was just a decent chance.

That was a SITTER!

Think he will be class for us when he has a few matches under his belt. Kenny off the pace a bit tonight as might be expected.

It’s been a long time since we had 2 accomplished central midfielders like the Ks.
I know it’s early for them but it looks positive already.
Still just the wide areas we need more from but at least we have solid options down the centre

Not hard really Rekt - he's good, you can see why he's played at a higher level than this up to now. More to come but you can see the quality.

Special K's.

Did well until they tired. Look forward to seeing more of them together.

Me and my lad thought there were similarities to Charlie, the way he moves, sharp passing and looking to get into the box. Could be very very good when fit, but will take time to get there.

Everyone’s going overboard abit on him, off tonight’s performance. I don’t think him and Dougall in a midfield two is great, a three maybe.

I said I can see there’s a good player in there, obvious why he’s played at a higher level. But needs more game time.
Not many of our team showed much tonight.
Yates and Marv. Everyone else was going through the motions.

His forward passing was very incisive at times so a very good start from him. Simms started well but he'd started to struggle by the time he got subbed. Probably a fair bit of tiredness and his touch went because of it. As Chissy or Ben said he'll get better with more game time. But there's plenty of promise there.

Stewart is playing himself into fitness, Dougall back from Covid, both still looked good. Not going overboard, you can just see what Stewart has got even at this stage.

Yates didn't have a great game. Rescued it in injury time.

I agree, but both will take weeks to get up to game speed. But be honest people are anointing him as the second coming tonight. In reality he didn’t do that much. No one did.

Again Yates didn’t do much, but his effort is off the scales, which led to his goal, which was superb. You can’t ask for much more when the supporting cast isn’t there to help him.

Plus he's playing against big centre halves and not young lads like him. Bound to feel the pace for a while. Didnt let us down.

I thought Dougall was bordering on being a liability tonight and was pleased when he got the hook,

Indeed he didn't. He started off very well and as I said his touch deserted him the longer the game went on. Certainly looks more promising than Woodburn or Kemp even though different positions.

Can they practice passing as well as shooting. Lots of passes going astray and the player making the pass was not being pressured.

He made it in to the opposition half once and he tackles players, how does that make him like Adam who couldn't tackle to save his life and regularly drove forward and scored goals? 😂

Absolutely. Looks like he'll add a new dimension to the team once up to speed.
