Shrewsbury Town v Blackpool Official Matchnight Thread 29.12.20

The stats point to a score draw but hoping for a win we need to get in them play off spots ASAP in case the season is cancelled

Thank God it's on

I've missed Blackpool on the TV

Plus I've convinced the Future Mrs Ockers to feck off to the gym and burn off the turkey and booze 😂

FFS ..... This always happens every Christmas ....I lose track of the days

Settled down to watch the match only to find its on tomorrow 🙄

32 years ago tomorrow I was in Shresbury getting married. Had suggested to wife when the fixtures came out that it would be nice to have a couple of days there over our anniversary. Best laid plans of mice and men, etc.

My mate in Macclesfield had deep snow, anyone know if Shrewsbury had any? Or if it freezes, with such a late KO.. Could be an issue, a 5pm ko would help 😊. 7.45pm is way too late with no supporters

Should be a good test against an in-form Shrewsbury side; those Lincoln and Doncaster away wins look increasingly good, especially the former.

I think a point incoming, which I'd be happy with really. Though can't help but feel anything other than a win might seem slightly disappointing given our recent form and the fact that it feels like we haven't played in 3 months.

With fans allowed in knowing our luck it will be called off due to being slippy around the ground

Not too bad in Macc, only a few inches. Cat and Fiddle road is even open now.

Looks like a light dusting to me.
Fingers crossed 🤞 reminds me of when I go out into the garden to see if the grass was frozen solid, or even longer ago when wind speed was an issue (when Oyston was the really the issue) hope it's on as we've been starved of football lately.

Come on 'You Mighty Pool.'
Let's come home with the three points tonight, and get ourselves moving up that table ASAP. After saying that, I know that we have done well recently, but we must make up for the very shaky start to this season.
With the Covid spreading like it is, and seven of the twelve League One games off we can't afford to be hanging around in mid-table if this season becomes curtailed.

Shrews can have 2000 supporters can’t they?

Seems like a strange line up to me.

Finger crossed it works.
