Port Vale vs U18s.

The youth team bring their season to a close tomorrow with what should have been a home game but has now been flipped to Vale Park.
It's disappointing that we couldn't let the 18s play on Bloomfield Rd because this will be the last game in tangerine for several of them.
It's far from ideal that our Academy don't have a base which is something that won't change until we get the new training ground.
There's no blue smoke from the Academy chimney yet on contracts but communication has never been a strong point.

Against all odds, our development coaches are doing really well, both in terms of attracting players, developing them and getting results in games.
This being despite not having a home ground, the first team coaches not giving a single player game time & a lack of support from the club with regards to communication.
From a fans perspective, it's a very amateurish setup.
Good luck to the players tomorrow & for their futures - either at BFC or elsewhere.

Sounds like Miles had another good game and is hopefully one who will break through in the near future.

I think the development coaches have achieved this for years.
We just need that one player who will come through that system and blow us all away.
