What are your six picks for the weekend?'

Which two make the Superbowl, and score prediction?

The whole of AVFTT should be shouting for the Bears on Sunday ( versus verminous New Orleans) and I'm hoping Tampax Bay start going through a heavy period.

A few upsets I think.

Bills over come the Colts by a field goal.

Rams upset the Seahawks 23-21

Washington upset the Bucs. By a point.

Ravens over the Titans by a touchdown

Saints blow out the Bears.

edit to add Pittsburg to annihilate the Browns. Won’t even be close. Browns may not score.

Green Bay vs Buffalo in the SB. Green Bay to win.

It's a shame you don't post about football much any more.

You're not as much fun as you used to be. 😀

OK. Bills to beat the Colts. Steelers will beat the Browns. Ravens to win at Titans.

The GOAT squad will win at The Football Team. Rams to upset the 'Hawks. Saint will beat the Bears.

Whoever wins the AFC wins the whole shebang. If pushed, I'd got for the Chiefs to beat the Pack, but Bills v Saints would not be a surprise.

Bills v Colts - very hard to call. 2 strong teams. Bills just but no surprise if the Colts pull it off if Rivers is on song.

Seahawks v Rams - also very hard to call. Wilson's incredible intelligence to pull it off in a tight game. Seahawks.

The Team v Buccs - New England Buccs all the way.

Titans v Ravens - Another mouth-watering tie. Two running teams hammering it out. Can the Ravens keep the best running back in NFL Derrick Henry quiet? Ravens stronger in other departments. I'm going to go Ravens. Just because of Lamar Jackson. Could go either way but Ravens.

Saints v Chicago - routine win for the Saints. Would be a huge shock if the Bears won. Would have to be a terrible day for the Saints and the Bears to produce form that they haven't all season. Saints.

Steelers v Browns - Same as above. Got to be a Steerlers win. Browns only just pipped the Steelers reserves the other night. Steelers.

New system gets underway tonight

Can't say with confidence the two teams with byes should win respective conferences, but they've finished with the best records so have earned the rest.

Bills Colts is intriguing. Think Allen more consistent than Rivers, but for me it comes down to Colts O-line against Bills D
Rams will always have a chance with Donald and co, but Seattle D playing out of its skin recently and think the Hawks have more consistency at qb.
Buccaneers should have a straightforward win, especially after the Team edged in under spurious circumstances, but nothing would surprise me. Washington will have a point to prove. Might be closer than we think.
Everybody tipping the Ravens; Déjà vu?
Similar situation with Bears-Saints. Chicago kept it close in Soldier Field, but can't see it happening here.
Steelers Browns different ball-game this week, but the return of starters doesn't mean the Steelers will have it all their own way. Not been as convincing of late.
Lot of fence-sitting there, but for me, it's always heart over head, which is why I don't gamble
Please not the Packers although the whisky drinker is currently the best in the business
Please not the Bills with Diggs
Please not the whinging Saints
Please not the admittedly consistent cheat, although he's ominous in January
Want a Seahawks Titans SB, so they're now doomed

I'd be confident in The Bills, Buccs and Saints. The other three are closer. I'll go Ravens again because they are improving at the right time, Seahawks purely because they have the better QB and Steelers because their defence will give Mayfield kittens if the Browns cannot establish the run.

I said it was close and could have gone either way. What a brilliant and exciting end that was! Rivers should have gotten the Colts in field goal range there.

But great for the Bills. McDermott has turned this outfit into a force. Well done Bills.

Well I hope Washington win, but I don't give us a chance. It's also 1am and I doubt I'll be up all night to watch it.

If not Washington, then the Seahawks.

Well I’m 100% with my picks so far.

however there’s no way the Rams are getting 23 points in this. 😂

Bro you need to stop smoking so much weed, browns will score and even though they have mainly reserves playing they may just give Ben the rapist a good slap if nothing else

Far out maaaaan, they may score but not many.

I can’t wait for this post of yours to not age well 😂😜

I won on the first game, got way laid before second game so didn't bet, so just the last game and it always matters more when there is money on it*.

So who would the AVFTT Gridiron experts take in the last game ?

Washington with the 10 or Tampa giving the 10 ?

* Please bet responsibly, only bet what you can afford to lose, etc, etc.

Massively impressed with the Rams. They are back. That ODL has put the Seahawks to the the sword. Incredible.
I can’t decide if the Rams D line was just immense or the Seahawk’s Online is one of the worst I’ve ever seen?

Now Smiths not starting for Washington I can’t see them doing anything against the Bucs.

He looks better than I expected but Buccs will pull away.
Could only make it to half time, just caught up with the second half. God he played well, Heinekie made that closer than it should have been

My selections yesterday were Tampa, Buffalo and Seattle, so I got one wrong, today I'm going for Ravens, Saints, Steelers.

Same.

Only game I see as being tight is the first game. Last year the Ravens were expected to demolish the Titans and didn't. I don't think either team is as strong as last year. Will go for the Ravens as they have the Lamar effect.

Love watching Derrick Henry. The NFLs version of Jonah Lomu.

We never stood a chance, now that we're missing Smith and Mooney it will be a rout.
Brees will tear us apart over the middle, and Kamara will have a field day.
We only sneaked in to the play offs through the back door because of the extra teams now entered.
It's given a false sense of success to a season that has been pretty crap.

Ravens, Saints & Steelers to win tonight.

Chiefs v Packers SB.

Can't see anyone stopping Rodgers with the way he is currently playing, sadly.

Kamara is absolutely sparkling now. 6 TDs last week and 100% fit. It will be a minor miracle if the Bears win but stranger things have happened.

Think the last one could be closer than some think. Big Ben and co. will return, but wouldn't discount the Browns. First playoff game for years, Baker's a cocky individual who doesn't endear himself to many, but has the right amount of confidence not to be intimidated by the sack specialists, Chubb is a great RB and Cleveland has some pass rush of its own.
Agree about Henry and would like the Titans to go all the way, but Baltimore might revel in this different role as opposed to being heavily favoured last year. They're pretty solid against the run. Should be a cracking tie.
Wouldn't like a surprise in the second game. Perennial whingers they may be, but still want Saints to put away the odious bears.
Another 9 hours of fun ahead

We've been shocking against play off calibre opposition this season, only winning one game.
Their D will totally shut Mitch down and our D, a shadow of its former self, will have no answer to Brees, Kamara & Thomas.

I expect nothing from this game, but as you say, stranger things have happened.

Surprised everyone is tipping the steelers so heavily and you cannot see it being tight. Steelers record this season far outweighs their actual talent.

I'd go browns by 6 points.

And then I hope we look at getting a big Ben replacement.

Nah I think the Steelers will win comfortably. Big Ben is the fittest he's been for years and they've just been winning every week under the radar. He seems to be hitting Claypool and Smith-Shuster with ease.

The Browns are a shit or bust outfit. They are either all in or all out usually down to the cocky upstart QB and huge ego'd WRs.

Two very even sides. Browns have a more balanced offence with chubb being one of the best RBs about. Steelers running game isn't great.

Think it will be won or lost with the steelers defence, if they play for 4 quarters they can do it but the offence doesn't stay on the pitch long enough to get a breather.

In theory, the best game of this weekend - just a shame it starts at 1am.

Don’t forget the Browns were a midgets dick away from throwing the game away against the Steelers back ups.

Stefanski won’t be there
Bitonio is out.
Baker really struggles under pressure, the Steelers D line at times is unblockable.
just can’t see it being close. 🤷‍♂️

I know. Shame about the time. My mate is a massive Steelers fan (secretly hope the Browns win as goes on and on about how good they are when for the last few seasons they've been average) and he's booked tomorrow off to stay up.

I might try and stay up and watch the first quarter on my phone on Skygo.

Shame Browns won't have Stefanski there. Think his playcalling might have kept it close

Agreed about Henry, ranked number one in the NFL in all categories, if they don't stop him then the Titans can win, but I don't think their defence can handle Lamar Jackson
