Not a patch on the original with Patrick Swayze and certainly not one of Jake Gyllenhaal’s better films.
And who the hell thought it was a good idea to cast Connor McGregor in a film? He was abysmal!
Although I wouldn’t say that to his face. 😂

Watched it the other night. One of the worst films I’ve ever seen. Utter garbage.
I always think CGI looks a bit shite and the CGI fight scenes were next level shite.

Watched it the other night, my brother called me the day after to tell me how bad it was. He told me the first thing he did yesterday was watch the original to get the latest version out of his head.
Really bad movie, probably gonna be a classic in ten years time. Connor McGregor didn't even rise to the level of abysmal, based on that performance I'm sure we are going to see him in tons of low rent movies where they need an eccentric bad guy.

It was OK, mindlessly entertaining, Connor Mcgregor was so bad it was good, I think most of the CGI budget went on making the little fella look as tall as Jake Gylenhaal.
