He is exactly that, plus loads of experience. Just what we needed.Great news, good age and hopefully, the left footed CB we need.
Right to be calling for the managers head after 4 league games with a brand new squad? I think not.But the expert pundits on here were broadly right though!
It still won't be good enough for some that we are behaving like a proper club.Seems very promising. I know loads of fans like myself have been expressing our concerns over the centre of our defence. Clearly Critchley had the same concerns and he's just gone about quietly sorting it out. Well done to him. And of course to Sadler for backing him.
I think it was a generalization and not aimed at you Clappers.quote me one post that was calling for Critchley to be sacked as opposed to voicing concern he might not be up to the job
Even so, saying “he might not be up to the job” AFTER 4 GAMES is negative and is not what they need to hear or see.quote me one post that was calling for Critchley to be sacked as opposed to voicing concern he might not be up to the job
He probably speaks English better tban most native English speakers. It might take time for him to learn the language, meet the players etc and really bond with the squad so don’t expect miracles straight away.
im expecting a Husband Ballard partnership for a few games (after his suspension), with Gretarsson eventually replacing Husband in the near future.

Their English is better than ours. Our English players may have to work on their language.English is their second language.

He’s in the wrong job for sure if he can’t take people being sceptical. I don’t recall reading any posts calling for his head. Just some voicing their concerns as to team selection, performances, organisation and particularly the substitutions he elects to make. All standard fare I would say.Even so, saying “he might not be up to the job” AFTER 4 GAMES is negative and is not what they need to hear or see.
It’s been all clear since Catweazel leftCan we introduce the Icelandic Clap to make him feel at home?
Isn't Covid bad enough? Can we introduce the Icelandic Clap to make him feel at home?
Does this mean we have to call of our games seeing he's getting in the Iceland squad.
He was in the squad in December but didn't play, but played left centre back in a friendly against Canada on 15th January 2020, won 1-0.As far as I'm aware, he played for the national team back in September last year and hasn't been called up for this next run of games (someone can correct me if I'm wrong), so he can play this weekend and for the foreseeable. Could change, mind, but good to go for now.

Until the mid 70s that was what many a Fleetwood fisherman would do.Can we introduce the Icelandic Clap to make him feel at home?
Only played 155 times in 11 years? What is that about?
But I'm not sure whether the Viking will be oven-ready. Stepping from that league to this is a big change, and it will be interesting to see whether he fits the bill. I think Ballard will be likely to hit the ground and get up and running more quickly. But we will have to see, it's very hard to predict.A Viking and a Bollard - exactly what you'd want in the centre of defence.

I'm impressed with the 40 yard diagonals..very Charliesque.
Here is the video mentioned above. Nice left foot and cross field balls
