My latest Blackpool FC related book is now available to purchase with immediate dispatch.
‘The London Tours 1890-96”
In the period 1890-1896, three Football Teams from the Fylde Coast embarked on ambitious mid-season tours to London to play in “Ordinary Matches” or more commonly known as “Friendly Matches”. Blackpool, South Shore and Fleetwood Rangers football clubs took their squads on 500 mile round trips down South to the capital city.
It’s hard to comprehend that 130 years ago, all three Fylde Coast football teams would play at Arsenal in front of crowds of around 2,000. Follow the adventures of these intrepid footballers on their travels in this A5 size 95 page book.
The first 30 books are issued in Limited Edition Hardback format.
Nos 31+ are in softback version.
All books are numbered and signed by the author. The lowest numbered available book will be allocated upon purchase on a first come first served basis.
