Obviously don’t want Liverpool to have a sniff of a top 4 finish.

I wonder if they will be punished?

I would be amazed if they are punished. They should be but they will not be. It seems that there are some clubs that help to write the rules but never seem to follow them. Still waiting to see what the EPL will do about the 'super' league scandal. Almost certainly nothing....

So much for the integrity of the Premier League. Blackpool were fined for fielding a weakened team. Let's see if the same happens to one of the big boys. And also, how the hell can you put out a weakened team when it's still mathematically possible to win the title however slim the possibility?
Stranger things have happened.

Scouse blood coming out again Rusty? . Perhaps if they didn’t lose 6 home games on the spin they wouldn’t have to “victim it” as usual...the whole World is against em 😢. Or could it be that Utd have 3 games in 5 days so had no chance of playing the same players in each of those games?

Without knowing the full Premium League rules on the weakened team rules, I think someone should be pressurising them (the League) on the perceived weakened team

The fact they have to play L/pool on Thursday is no-one’s fault but their own (as they couldn’t stage the original match) - gain, another issue they could/should be fined on .

You have to fulfill your fixtures within the timetable and follow all rules to the letter

Bur WE all know absolutely nothing will happen to them - they’ll probably get a penalty or two thrown in for good measure too

Liverpool don’t deserve top 4. Klopp said that himself recently. This affects West Ham, Chelsea, Spurs and Everton as well as Liverpool. Anyone with even the remotest chance of top 4
Blackpool were fined for exactly the same thing. Let’s see what happens to Utd
I bet Derby are going to have the book thrown at them for financial irregularities
City got away with it
The six clubs who tried for the European Super League seem to have got away with it. They should have been relegated like Rangers were in Scotland
My point has nothing to do with ‘scouse blood’ as you put it.
The authorities always seem to favour the big boys. It makes me sick and is why I’ve fallen out of love with football. Me and many others I suspect. It’s not sport any more. It’s all about money and the big boys

Blackpool had 3 games in 5 days?

ollie changed the BFC whole sale for no good reason and got beat 3-2. He was roundly criticised on here for doing so. What would you have done with team selection if you had been OGS?

Ive no problem with OGS putting that side out last night, what grates is him moaning about the amount of games they have to play, completely forgetting the fact that it was his own fans that got the Liverpool game cancelled amd caused the congestion. Same as when Mason Greenwood got sent home from Iceland for having girls in his room, blaming Southgate instead of his own player taking responsibility for his actions. He's a personable guy is ollie but he can take the piss sometimes in the way Fergie did in turning things round the other way. Selective memory.

I'm not blaming Gollum for his team selection. And I'm not bringing manc/scouse rivalry in to the equation either. As PNENIL has stated above, it was United fans who got the game cancelled in the first place. Thus resulting in Utd putting out an under strength team and thus losing and affecting the likes of Liverpool, West Ham, Chelsea etc.
So through no fault of Liverpool, West Ham etc, Leicester have gained an advantage. So are United going to be fined?
Hope that's made it clearer Blood

Ive no idea if the United fans will be fined. I notice that you ain’t bringing any Scouse rivalry into it but call OGS Gollum.

I thought everyone called him Gollum 😆 He'd make a fortune in a LOTR remake.
BFC got fined for the fans causing the abandonment of the game against Huddersfield. Let's see if United get treated the same..
I've no doubt Derby will have the book thrown at them and points deducted for financial irregularities. What happened to Man City for the same thing?
The so called big six seem to have got away with the European Super League, all be it they may get a paltry fine.
They should all be relegated as what they were planning would have virtually destroyed English football. Or at least a points deduction next season.
My point is that the big clubs just seem to get away with it.
