Is lockdown finally over?

As it appears the new message from Boris is 'Do whatever you want, Ignore the rules, Sod the consequences' does that mean we all might as well go back to normal and take whatever happens on the chin? The so-called rules that are in place are unenforceable as everyone now can argue they are doing it for the kids, especially now it has been officially sanctioned. There is little point continuing making great personal sacrifices when no one else is.

Can we see our loved ones again, get the economy running again, get the season finished and finally get down the pub? Might as well catch up on lost time because anything else seems pointless today.

Vacuous no marks like tory Bozo and Cummings make you lose faith in humanity. One day - they will be discarded into the dustbin of history. Keep the faith.

Only for those who don’t want to apply common sense bearing in mind that this virus actually ** kills people!
Of course it will kill people but that isn't the point. It doesn't matter how illogical and irresponsible it is to break the restrictions as a reaction against Boris's abject failure to show any leadership in this matter, what matters is that people seething with anger will say 'fuck it I'll do what I want not what these clowns tell me'.

At the moment 9 out of 10 people are behaving and there is an attitude that it is socially unacceptable to break the rules. In the wake of this what happens when more people react in what I is the wrong way. They will feel bolder less afraid of peer-group pressure and as more see this they will become emboldened too and the rule-breaking will snowball and become more acceptable. As that happens even the more rational people will then realise they are wasting their making sacrifices as everyone is breaking ranks anyway.

At some point obeying the current lockdown no longer works in keeping the spread of the virus down so you are wasting your time carrying on with it.

Spirit your points are valid we are lacking a leader who can actually lead at the moment and there is no doubt people will start to stretch and beyond the guidelines that have been set out. Equally, there are in the vast majority who simply will not put themselves or their loved one’s at risk it is too dangerous at this stage of the virus. But there is a massive risk that some people will now start to 'lockup' after that clusterfcuk of a briefing from our bumbling PM.

I like your optimism but I fear people's anger will stop them acting rationally

I think now its open season for some people because one person who should have known better did what he did.For me I want to live so I will carry on what I have been doing unlike those media folk outside Cummings gaff.
