If you really want to see a fans message board in meltdown

Take a little trip to Sunderland 😄
(P.S. Thanks to the poster who describes us as the Blackpool All Stars)

Like any message board it will be a mix bag of the reasonable and the tad mental (which will often interchange). Obviously I don't frequent the Sunderland board but somebody posted one of there threads about us a couple weeks ago.

Some of their posters were so unbelievably arrogant it was infuriating. I sincerely hope they're eating humble pie now, apparently our fixtures were irrelevant as they're definitely going up automatic - if playing us twice in 10 days didn't seem significant before, it will now!

Jesus! Not happy are they? They really are Billy Big Bollocks and just see League 1 as totally below them. Their match thread runs to 147 pages!! I didn't read any of that but love this quote from one of the other threads,

"We haven't got a game in hand on Peterborough, we have to play Hull away, play Blackpool twice, we are fucked"

Well lets certainly hope so 😬 👍

What thread did you post on 66?

I want to see this 😂
Any chance of a link please - as I can’t find it?
Hi both. I've just been back to find that all the abusive stuff has been removed. I also got this message from one of the mods:

HI there, there has long been a tradition on this board of abusing first threads from new posters, dating back to when an influx of Newcastle fans appeared. The practice is fine when someone has been reading the board for a while and knows the routine (or indeed is a Mag!), but as most, by definition, were not lurkers, it was recently outlawed and all offending posts in your thread have been deleted. Reponses to removed posts also disappear.

Additionally, there was quite a delay in your posts as a new member being approved, this is not normal and indeed I've never seen such a long queue!! So apologies for that too, it is usually a matter of minutes.

Welcome to the board and enjoy the game, if hopefully not the result, on Saturday

Best Regards

McMackem

Not happy are they ..but in the last 4 days they've just witnessed the automatics dream slip away somewhat.
Still a possibility for them but I've been keeping an eye on their forums recently and it would seem that the Lee Johnson love-in is fast fading.
I came across this post match podcast last night which captured the mood nicely.

Took a look - their board looks very similar to on here when we lose a game, or don't win when expected, no creativity in midfield, what's happened to the defense, the manager got it wrong etc etc

Or the Ipswich forum. You’d think an asteroid was about to obliterate the town.
We even got a mention on the rebuilding an entire squad from scratch thread. 😂
This is a good one, from a few years ago, particularly as the £1m bid was likely Koko’s BFC bid in instalments and add-ons, rejected by Pilley:

Jesus...I have just been on the Sunderland site....and I feel like calling the Samaritans for them....

Thought we (well, Phil) took losing badly and slating the manager....There are 3 or 4 threads calling to sack Johnsons for losing to Wigan.... 😳

I've never been keen on Sunderland. My first away game as a kid was at Roker park when I was 9. Blackpool scored and I cheered. My sisters boyfriend and my cousin who took me were told to "Shut that fucking kid up."
I don't hold grudges honestly.

I read the Sunderland match thread quite often and it’s very funny when theyr not doing so well ,they really do take the manager and players to pieces on it .

Brilliant I bet if they had put him in the dressing room at half time they would have spanked Wigan. Let’s hope he has a shitter on Saturday as well 😄

That guy is from Blackpool weirdly enough.

Fairly certain he is the younger brother of Blackpool-born wrestler Sam Gradwell.

I cant think of many clubs who live constantly trussed up in another clubs keepnet, but that lot seem to be stuck in several.

The nonsense about not buying Sugar Puffs some years back just about sums them up. (Kevin Keegan then a Newcastle player starred in the advert)

I refused to buy a Baxi boiler at the time!
