If you need cheering up

Top top day. Me, my wife and 2 kids stayed at my mates flat near London Bridge that week end. The day was full of enjoyable moments but the icing on the cake for me was after the game, getting off the tube at London Bridge. We walked past a pub that had about 15 West Ham fans sat outside. As we approached decked in tangerine with flags they all stood up and and gave us a rousing standing ovation as we walked past. It was unique, uplifting and real goose bump stuff.

Drove over from France for that game. Stayed with friends in Lincolnshire. They had lived in Blackpool for years but had moved on.
He was a Pool fan (1st team Sheff. Wed.) and as exited as I was. four of us, our wives went also, got the train from Lincs.
What a fantastic match and day. Fortunately we were up in the stand so didn't get the Sun.

A great day ,,,,best trip we ever been on ,,,,but knew when I saw pictures of Oyston rubbing his hands at the prospect of 90 million pounds ,,,I just knew it was going to turn sour ,,,,

Met a few Cardiff fans on the way back to the tube that day and most of them were surprisingly magnanimous. Seem to recall a somewhat different reception towards us from the West Ham ‘fans’ in 2012.
