My mum is doing a painting of iconic Blackpool players and managers. She is going to donate it to the Armfield club once its done. Looking for about 50 past players and mangers to go onto the picture. Just wondering who you would like to have on it.

Other than the obvious Morty, Matthews, Adam, Brett etc some of our other ledges, and Billy already being done.

Mike Davies
Dave Bamber
Paul Stewart
Big John Murphy

A good image would be Big Ben Burgess doing the Birdman......

Good on your mam. Love it.

Jimmy Armfield
Tony Green
Ian Holloway
Tony Ellis (still my most fav signing - EVER!!)
Alan Ball
Evatt
Southern
Wes - straight down the middle

Perhaps take so many players from each decade with a few more for the glory years?
should be most numbers from 50s. 60s & 70s imho
Obviously for managers Joe Smith, King Billy & Holloway must be on it, I had a soft spot for Allan Brown and Sam Ellis but probably best concentrate on players? Suppose you could add Alan Carrs dad or Lee Clark for comedy value? 🤪 😉 .

No problem with your selections MAC but if it's "Big" John Murphy, it has to be "Super" Mikey Davies.

You can't go far wrong with the BSA Hall of Fame entrants. Get a selection from each decade then.

Probably the best attacking full back I’ve clapped eyes on....
I never saw Jimmy

I saw Jimmy head a goal at Bloomfield Rd. He was jumping for joy never seen him so pumped up. I think he only scored 6 in his career.🏐

Saw him score in a 2-0 home win against Crystal Palace. Think we won 2-0.

Paulines late husband Billy O Rourke would be good as a player and as a nice touch for Pauline for all her work(with her permission).
