How does Critchley compare to previous managers

Tonight marked 30 games in charge for Critch. Compared to other managers who have done 30+ games here is his win percentage:

It’s a good start. You’d expect his win percentage to drop as the number of games increase, but given he had such a tough start, it puts the run over the last 20 games into some context.

Good football, a cup run and a late surge towards the play offs surely goes down as a good season?

Two things to take into account-
1) Critch has been backed more so than any Blackpool manager perhaps in history so his win % should be that high.
2) As mentioned by UTMP, we only had 1 win from our first 12 so it's remarkable that he's been able to climb that percentage up higher, showing that he's adapted and made necessary changes as a manager.

All really positive, if he keeps this trajectory up he'll have us in the Championship in no time.

He's learning the management trade fast although he has the odd blip, as tonight showed. The improvement of the players is his shining light! If he continues as he is, the future is Tangerine again!

Money doesn’t necessarily guarantee success. It still has to be earned.

He's been backed more than any manager since the early 80s apart from Allardyce, Grayson and Holloway, is probably more accurate. Critch has had a good first year in management, in my opinion. Not perfect but he's built a strong squad and the side is developing well. I hope he was watching Crewe closely last night cos his previous employers taught us some stuff. Their technique, movement and pressing were better than ours, and they have recruited much less expensively than we have.

Plus a few in their early 20's coming through their own academy.
The Dario Grardi model.

I think Riga gets a free pass because he had a stand off with Karl. All the time he was there, I never got his ability to manage, regardless of the players he was dealing with.
I reckon he gave up when he realised what he was dealing with. I respected him for that! 🤣

Riga gets a free pass from me as he was conned. Oystons told him to build a new youth team set up, he brought in loads of those players to get it off the ground, and was then told the till was empty when he tried to fill the first team positions that so obviously needed filling. Sold a total pup.
