Nope, didn't think so. Me neither.

Everyone can see we have been very poor the last few games with the exception of Sunderland where I thought we did well. I know its really frustrating that we can see it and we know what the opposition is going to do, and how many teams can break us down and either equalise late on or go in front and hold on against us and we can't seem to do the same, but tell me you wouldn't take where we are now with four games to go and fate in our own hands compared to any other season since we played West Ham at Wembley in 2012.

We may or may not make the Play Offs, I hope we do. We may or may not win them, I hope we do. Either way, I've got every faith that the board will ensure we are ready from the off next season, whatever league were in and we will hit the ground running , and hopefully with crowds back inside the ground to cheer us on. This club is on the up, some flakes on this website need to man up and grow a pair. If it doesn't happen this time, its only a matter of time until it does.

Great post Potts 👍🏼 For years we have been stifled by our previous scum owners and all of a sudden a few vocal muppets/moaners think we are entitled to win the league because Simon has put his money where his mouth is. Personally I wish they would fcuk off and support Liverpool when they are winning or United when it’s their turn, their negativity and told you so posts aren’t what’s required at the moment 😡😡😡

Totally agree with this Potts fella👍🏻 Everywhere you look it’s negativitv. Maybe folk are just bored or they like a good moan but it’s actually pathetic!! I gave up on that pod cast thing Jesus!!! Now that is depressing. When you think about it these pod casts are pointless until we can go back in, I mean talking for two hours about a football match you’ve watched on an internet stream is Enough to send anyone to sleep 😃
 
When you think of the start we had it’s definitely a good season in my opinion!
Too many doom and gloomers who think we should be champions elect by now!
 
Great post. One of my earliest memories is wondering why Pool fans were singing ‘we’re shit and we know we are’. The past decade is almost entirely miserable, not even having a club to support and at one point thinking we never would again.

So this is all like Cloud 9 to me, best season ever honestly whatever happens. I’m just bursting with pride in my team and my town.
 
Has everyone forgotten how Bowyer took us up, and that despite the curse of the Oystons hanging over their heads.I actually think we played some more attractive football then than we have for most of this season which for the most part has not been easy on the eye.
 
You think Neil Critchley is sat there today saying, you know what lads, it's been a great season, doesn't matter about the last 2 games or the next 4, we can always go again next year. No, ofcourse he isn't.

We've done incredibly well to get to where we are now and it's been beyond my wildest imagination going back to October time. Let's not throw in the towel just yet! We can look back in 2 weeks and assess the season then

Agree mate, it’s still massively in our own hands 👍🏼 Critch is learning from his mistakes....... the Pool are going up 🍊👍🏼😀
 
This season is utter shite even if we got promoted.
In ten years time looking back it would remind me of the time we were all lockdowned stuck watching crappy Ifollow all of the season much preferred 2019/20 at least we went to games till it was curtailed.
 
Same here but I haven't enjoyed it one bit. Not being able to watch the games (without buying into the Sky nonsense) make it worthless, and the last week has put the tin hat on it.

You guys should never have sacked Harry Potts btw 😁
 
I've enjoyed every minute of the last two point whatever seasons.

Even the bits I didn't. I honestly thought I was done with football for good. For me, it was never about oOyston holding the club back or relegation or promotion. It was his grotesque misuse of his position to make lives miserable. It was the use of the club as a plaything, a tool for his ego, a device with which to flex his muscle and love out some weird control fantasy.

Every minute without him and his family is a joy. Even the defeats, the pain and frustration is sweet as silk spin sugar in comparison to the hollow indifference I felt. The shrug of apathy. To be moaning at Larry or watching Ryan Edwards at full back is bliss in comparison.

Still shouldn't have gone 442 mind.

Yeah completely forgot about away games to be fair, wish I could have gone to a few but I've got no idea what that team was like really!
 
The impact of the fans, the noise, the drama, the roar all missing from football currently makes all games feel lifeless reserve type games, this shouldn’t be underestimated when judging Critch.
 
I haven't enjoyed this season at all. Probably because we're not there but mainly because I've never been convinced we're that good. That could be down to the amount of fixtures and injuries but I haven't enjoyed many games at all.
 
For me personally this is almost the worst season ever,not being in my ground living and breathing every kick has been gutting.Sure I hope we go up but I will of missed out on so much from not being at the games,I hope we’re back very soon safely .
 
It's a shame that Gary Bowyer was here during the NAPM years, that season was probably the only semi decent one out of all the dross we have put up with.
 
I was wondering myself is this the most critiqued Blackpool FC side that has been in contention to get promoted? I didn't frequent AVFTT pre-boycott so I'm unaware

There are definitely aspects of our play worthy of critique certainly, but sometimes I feel they don't get the credit they deserve. I said on another thread you don't get in the play-offs by chance and the fact we're in it with more than a shout with 4 games to go shows we have a certain level of quality. I think it is a tangerine-tinted specs sort of thing, if this team ends up going up we'll look back on only their good qualities and remember how good they were, if they don't go up we'll remember their flaws.
