Great following from Ipswich.

There have been some poor away followings this season, but I thought that the Ipswich numbers were very impressive considering they had lost their last game at home, were lying 9th in the table, and most of all, a 10 hour or more round trip.👏
10 hours? I wish it was! Always a hard run down there and usually we stop over, but always takes around 6 hrs minimum to get back. Pity them in this weather too and no doubt the M6 will throw up its usual challenges!

Well done Ipswich for making the long journey in such awful weather.

1306 scafton said on twitter, agree great effort especially considering the weather.. imagine them who are staying over and out in town on the lash.

Good effort but it looked more than that. Same with Bolton it looked more than stated. That stand holds nearly 2.5k doesn't it? Looked fairly full today obviously a few gaps. Maybe because their stood it's harder to see spaces...🤷‍♂️

9500 overall.

A result at the cods would be fantastic. Hopefully with better weather and more positive football we could see a decent midweek attendance v Tranmere leading up to Sunderland who will bring even more fans.

Could still get near 10k average crowds which considering the way the season gone with little seemingly to play for would be pretty good.

I went to a work meeting in Ipswich once that finished at half 1. Got straight in my car and put my sat nav on on my estimate arrival time at home was 19.05. For a few minutes I considered moving there just to avoid that drive.

Fair play to them for travelling in those numbers, in this weather. Spoke to a couple on the way out the ground and they were decent lads.
