Forgotten loan players that did well for the pool.

John Burridge- initially signed on loan from 4th division Workington Town when we were in the top flight.Ay up a great decision to sign him on a permanent at end of his loan.😄

Anyone remember Wayne Gill, nearly single handily kept Blackpool up in 2000 with 7 goals in 12 games, He is now a physio at Fulham.

Anyone else remember players that made a difference when they signed on loan?
He was that good, we gave him his own classic chant

'We don't care if you've got no hair Wayney, Wayney Gill'

Even Elton would of been proud to have written those words 👍

Tommy Wright- came in on loan, had a 1 in 2 goal return, looked too good for our level. Never really settled anywhere.

Didn't he take the O's to court to get his share of the promotion pot.?
Yes he got £70k promotion bonus via the courts in a judgement against Old Rapey. One of his two goals was against his parent club Plymouth which was also a strange one.

“I’ve forgotten most things far more than just the trivia on here but to enter in to the spirit of things what was the name of the excellent midfield player we had on loan last season .Was he from Leicester City and where is he now? At least this fits the rules of those we have forgotten.”

Dewsbury Hall currently on loan at Luton.
I think Wes must be the best loan player we’ve had, certainly this century. Whether he can be classed as a forgotten loan is a moot point.

Jonathan Douglas from Blackburn, came with Danns, if memory serves; ended up at Leeds
