There's been a massive amount of compliance right through this thing. A couple of stewards in each aisle can 'remind' any transgressors, the rest is down to personal responsibility and peer pressure, just like in supermarkets, pubs and public transport.People cannot be trusted to stick to the rules so what's the point. Not a chance will everyone keep their masks on. We are our own worst enemy.
Dunno where this is from but two things
1. That is 8 weeks away and if you're still not allowed more than 30 at a wedding or to go bowling I'd say that will be much further down the agenda
2. If it does happen it will be with massive caveats and I'd have thought 20% capacity tops will be allowed
There has also been a certain amount of non- compliance too. As regards peer pressure in supermarkets etc, have you ever tried telling a 6’4 bloke built like a brick outhouse to wear a mask as I did last week. I won’t print his reply, but it wasn’t “ oh I’m sorry I will put one on immediately “. Good job that although I am in my 70s I am still fit enough to beat a hasty retreat. There's been a massive amount of compliance right through this thing. And that's what pisses me off about this.Went to a Step 7 PSF Non league game last saturday with covid restrictions in place..... this week new instructions have come out that fans are no longer allowed even at that level. Cricket isn't a problem though, just a case of following the guidance. Odd thing is you can still get hammered in your local pub.
There's a consultation document about a return to crowds online where the criteria are set out. Social distancing within the ground, ticket only in advance with provision of track and trace contact details, down to local authorities to determine whether away fans are allowed, and that will be determined by capacity after home season ticket holders are allocated seats. May have to arrive at a set time in advance of kick off to avoid turnstile congestion, with back row seats being filled first to avoid having to edge past people on the way in. Miss your time, you don't get in.Sat outside, wearing a mask - I don't see the issue?
Obviously the concourse is an issue but surely a 1 way socially distanced queue can be formed (like going into supermarkets)?

No last minute rush from the Excelsior
The problem with that is that too many will get their masks off at the earliest opportunity. If everyone wears a mask, I don't see the problem of a reduced capacity to get things going.
We have to get this shit moving.
Because he/she is a clownWhy the snide remarks about the Excelsior boys.
Not snide at all, it's common knowledge that there's always a last minute rush. I'm sure they'll be in the ground loud and proud. Why the snide remarks about the Excelsior boys.

Why would you say he/she?...Wiz has never hidden behind a keyboard and most fans know who HE is. The muckers are a passionate and important vocal group of our support base and without them there would be little atmosphere in the ground. I am sure Wiz knows that as much as anyone and he wouldnt mean any offence...he is merely pointing out that many fans turn up late from the pub...there is nowt wrong with that under past regulations but may be different under Covid.Because he/she is a clown
