With NI's upcoming fixtures on the 25th of March against Italy and their fixture against the USA on the 28th March, this means we could potentially have defensive problems if Viking isnt back in time. We have Peterborough on the 23rd and Plymouth on the 27th.

Going to be a problem either way the Viking being a leftie. One space? Left in squad can we sign an out of contract centre half?

More Likely Turton at right CB and I wouldn’t be jumping through hoops at the prospect. Big Marv
Miraculous recovery needed
Turton was great at full-back earlier in the season. I have full confidence in him and Thorniley or Husband. My glass is most definitely half full. To be honest we can afford to lose to Peterborough and Plymouth won't get in our half so I think we'll be alright.

My glass is positively flowing with tangerine. CB is a concern tho without Ballard Big Marv and The Viking all potentially missing at the same time.

Turton is not tall enough to be relied upon to play centre half . Neither is husband either !!! Only last night we could see how we struggled against two big strikers.

I suppose if there is one game we'd need an international it's against Peterborough! Of course if we got those games called off it could kill us!

Nowt wrong with Thorniley every confidence in the young man has proved himself in the last few weeks so full steam ahead .

I’m assuming the USA game is a friendly ? If it weren’t for the fact the games are against Italy and the USA I think the club and the lad may well have asked not to be involved this time around in order to play his part in our playoff push (a non loanee surely would) but the fact he’s on loan and the fact that it is the USA and Italy and not for example Canada and San Marino means the chances of him opting out of the squad and N Ireland agreeing to leave him out are pretty slim.
Here’s hoping that for our sake Arsenal think playing competitive games for us is more important or that N Ireland simply choose not to pick him (he has been out a while and not played THAT many games)

It would be less worrying about lacking height at the back if we had a big dominant keeper at set pieces. Nothing could be further from the truth.
