Covid Passports?

Why all this argument about Covid Pasports?
When I had my first Covid jab they gave me a card with, on one side said, 'Covid 19 Vaccination'.
On the other side My name, 'Date of vaccine', 'Name of Vaccine' (Pfizer BioNtech)' 'Batch No.' and 'Date of Vaccine'.
Also a space for the next date, when I get it., ans spaces name, date Batch No. Next Tuesday now.
Why would I need a 'Passport'? It's all there.

You need one because some Bozo stands to make a fortune out of developing a global ID based system.

Because that could be forged. And it's non-traceable back, say at security control in Paris, for example.

You'll need some Govt type 'letter' with a barcode that applies to you.

Common sense fro travel tells me you'll have to apply for and additional page to stick in your passport with the information on and easily checked.

As x3 says, the covid passports will have to be extremely unique and secure (like a passport) as there will be many scrupulous people out there waiting to cash in on this high value market.
