CJ HAMILTON

I've no problem in admitting I was a critic and on one particular point I still am. He needs to take more care with his final ball or cross. But his positives now far outweigh his negatives. His pace not only is a massive threat to the opposition it's also a massive help to us as a defence too. Last night late on we were coming under more and more pressure and he picked the ball up halfway in our own half and just went down the wing and winning a corner. It certainly made me relax more and no doubt our defence too.
Watch out with pedestal placing someone once told me ;-)

I think that's a fair summary tbh.

He's also consistent. You know he's going to show up and do what he does. Yeah, that includes dodgy crossing at times but kind of like Armand, his strength is he's never dissuaded, he just keeps trying and doing the same thing and sooner or later, it works cos of his raw attributes.

If he could cross, honestly, he'd be ** Ronaldo!

I know it’s a different level but when Pep signed Raheem that was his main issue - pace and skill but lack of composure.
he worked hard on picking it up on the half turn and noticeably slowing down just before he shot to gain balance and composure.
A season on and his goal tally ever since has been frightening - I’m sure that’s not lost on Critch

Chissy made a comment last night after he put a poor ball in ‘as always with CJ Hamilton there remains that big question mark, his end product’. I genuinely cannot disagree more. Wingers in the premier league put in a few naff crosses and a few poor shots per game, as CJ does but more often than not he provides. He’s brilliant.

CJ ‘The Siege’ Hamilton. If I was 16 again he would definitely be my favourite by a million miles. Fast, stylish, bags of potential. As it is I can’t make my mind up, but think Madine just edges it for me, personality and presence.

It's not a criticism but I keep saying to the tele, "cut inside. get into the box, draw the foul, get a penalty"
There's plenty of penalties there for him. Just needs to be a bit cuter. The PL players certainly know how to do it.
I agree but I do like his refreshing honesty.

Was it not CJ who crossed for Anderson's Portsmouth goal? Was it not CJ who crossed for Kaikai's slip in the Oxford match? Keep doing your stuff CJ. I didn't get where I am today without knowing a decent winger when I see one.

Sorry folks, just got back on. MacPhee's the one I was thinking of, thanks.

But the others mentioned were pretty rapid too, Billy Clarke especially.
