Fairly happy with that. Crewe gave us a good game and there wasn’t really any poor performances by Pool just two teams giving it their all.
Still unbeaten in the run and CJ is back!
 
What a mad game. Hearts racing. Disappointed to be the team to concede the equaliser in a 1-1 but a point is better than nothing from that. Bloody injured linesman!

Nice to see CJ back but thought they'd have saved him until a bit later on to go down the right than through the middle.
 
Really enjoyed that. Yes it’s a shame we couldn’t get the win but Crewe were full value for the draw. Good to see two teams going for it. Very impressed with Crewe and they play very good Football.
 
Yes Crewe were better overall but we haven't been completely awful and the goal looked both offside and I suspect handball too. We've looked on our recent good form for probably about 15-20 minutes, and the rest was largely a Crewe side playing some very good football and much improved than the game earlier in the season. Draw is a fair result for me.
 
He's had some good days recently, but poor night for the manager in my opinion tonight. Don't get the Simms substitution at all, 11 minutes into the second half ?
If your bringing on CJ,surely it's for Ward or KaiKai and forget bringing Mitchell on.
Thought we were crying out for Dougall at times, utterly baffled.
Having said that Crewe are a good side and a point was the very least they deserved. Just think the bench made some odd decisions tinight.
 
There was a lot of effort put in by every Pool player for that point.
I agree with Phil we should have kept Simms on unless he had a knock.
We need Madine back in the squad.
CJ was clearly off the pace but will be a lot better for those minutes on the pitch.
Wasted down the middle though.
 
I expected a draw so not too disappointed. Crewe deserved a point. Pool midfield not up to scratch, too slow. I think Critchley made the subs too early and it didn't work. Still in with a shout, but there's still something missing.
 
I said I’d be happy to get something out of this game & we did. Plus we nearly nicked it. Enjoyed it.
 
Technically the best team we’ve played this season, excellent in possession, control and passing. At times we were chasing shadows and from the start I’d have had Kenny on the pitch. Didn’t understand the need to make the subs so early, as we were in our best control at that point. If we were making a sub then, it should have been to play 1 up front with an extra in centre mid. No need to have Ward and CJ.
 
Not the end of the world but will give critch food for thought come saturday....Ward wasnt having a bad second half but thats where CJ should have been when he came on...the right...leaving Simms on...The Crewe goal did look offside....the replacement lino looked the part but hadnt a clue what he was doing. But like I said earlier they are going to have to battle for every point...no walkovers in this league.All IMO of course.
