Bez Lubala.

Shame whatever it is could not have been sorted. I’m sure he could have made a useful contribution with current injuries.
 
The fact that he made all his social media private says that it has to be a personal issues to me. If this was just down to money, then surely he would still be posting as normal and saying he wants to play or his agent would at the very least. Does anyone know if he is even doing any training or even in Blackpool right now? Not seen anything on any of the teams IG posts of him even being at training or around the team at all.

Makes me wonder if another club isn’t involved in some way.

I find it hard to believe we’d sign a three year deal plus an option for another 12 months for what presumably was a significant fee, only to decide not to play him for “tactical reasons”. Especially when we’ve had so many injuries.

That said, this is pure speculation on my part.

The club have admitted it isn't for tactical reasons anymore, that is what they were saying before - they admitted it is an issue between Bez and the club and that is why he is being left out but didn't expand on that anymore.

They probably felt they needed to as it would be quite obvious it wasn't tactical now if he still wasn't making the bench with our lack of attacking options on it.

You’re right about the “tactical reasons” although I’m not sure the club have admitted it’s an issue between them and Bez. I think they have just said he’s not available to play and it’s a club matter.

That could mean any number of things, including a dispute between clubs with BFC and Bez caught in the middle.

But as I say - just speculating.

Very true, I read it a while ago and was working off memory but just going back to it they just state "club matter" not "club issue" - as you say that could mean a number of things.

If it's an appearance-based matter then he's on 20 so far including 10 starts, which looks like a very particular number to have your season halted on.

If you were talking about the previous owners I’d agree, but I don’t think that’s likely to be a factor with Sadler.

I’m not even sure he’s still with the same agent?
 
Highly doubt it will regard finances. Considering the dire state of our injury list at certain points this season, even up to now, he would have played due to absolute necessity. Seems likely to me that it’s probably something to do with a disagreement/argument between the player and management or maybe between Lubala and another player.

Him and Madine have probably had a bust up and neither is allowed to play. FACT!
 
Why are people suggesting another club is involved? That wouldn't explain why he has gone off social media or has not be seen in training. That would suggest a personal or disciplinary issue to me. It is good that the club no longer leaks like a sieve but it slso means there will be speculation when there is a lack of communication. Similar situation with Madine. They said he has a groin problem but we haven't had anything about treatment, recovery or a potential return to training or action

Not sure which agent you're referring to Mex, my point was more of a general one - not aware of which agent he's with or if there was any history there. Just speculating that whatever it is I don't think it the club is 'at fault' as we'd be hearing something from Bez or his agent, either directly or indirectly if there was something wrong in that regard.

I hope whatever it is, he gets back and available soon. He got some stick on here but I actually thought he looked quite promising at times, he was taking a step up from League 2 and that takes a bit of time as we've seen with Yates. At the very least he could be useful in giving Kaikai a bit of a rest, Kaikai gets some clatterings and I'm often amazed he's not injured.
 
My initial thoughts were something to do with a failed drug test - i'm sure i read somewhere that if it's an internal club test then they don't have to disclose it unlike if it was an EFL test.

Yep I agree with that. I also don’t think it’s a dispute between Bez and the club or Bez and another player, otherwise as you say I think something would’ve been leaked. That’s why I speculated that it might be a dispute/litigation between third parties that BFC and Bez have been caught up in.

Mind you, usually what happens now is that there’s an announcement within the following 24 hours that proves me completely wrong and looking like an utter tool. 😂

I also agree with the points you make in your second paragraph.
 
I think it is linked to the James Rodriguez rumour and social media got the wrong footballer, it is our Bez and he now wants to be referred to as Miss Beth Lubala.

*it's as much chance of being true as some of the other theories on this thread

We’ve got Lubala, Madine and Nuttall all missing with no real information given. It’s quite refreshing that we’re now actually acting professional.
 
Madine has had a scan and it was good news Scrafton said last week. He is due to get back running and should be back in 2 weeks. I dont think the club has hid anything about Madine tbh, there's just not been much to talk about because his injury hasn't been improving. Someone started a rumours and it's now being talked about by some as fact. The first time I saw that rumour was on Twitter by an account that loves to argue with everyone and say stupid things, so I didn't believe it for a second. The day after it was on here. What's happening with Lubala is being hidden, but I really think they've been quiet open about Madine.
