A decent supplier to Blackpool hotels and a company that operated their own standalone hotel in north shore.
 
The first of many firms I'm afraid to go under this is only the start of the shit storm buckle up everybody we are going bust.
 
TBF, the virus was the nail in the coffin for their coach businesses which have been basket cases for the last few years, and many of their hotels relied on same coaches. Like Boarding houses went, coach trips have been on a race to the bottom, discounting to crackers levels became the norm, I could not see how they could make any profit on their offer.

Still very sad for all those involved, there will not be a lot of jobs around for a good while, just hope the hotels themselves can be bought and reopened when this is all over. Some of the Scottish ones are in brilliant locations
 
I agree Tm. Some of those hotels are massive though. I think they will need some sort of other company (coach or cruise?) to bring in a captive audience to them if they are going to survive?

Aye, the Pitlochry Hydro Hotel was interesting. One might think that UK holidays would have new interest. Coach trips are such a boon for the very elderly, so I hope they get bought up quickly.
 
Sad to see Shearings go. I went on a few of their coach holidays in my teens with my parents. The worst part was after they collected you from your home location, they took you to the distribution centre for you coach. At that time it was the nobbers supporters club 👎
