4,000 home fans

The madness and beauty of football summed up - grown men arguing about whether the other grown men going to a match will sing well enough.

And that is why my 13 year old step daughter just won’t take football seriously or take me up on the many many offers of coming to a game !! 😂
She should stick to her loves. Football is true passion. You cannot make your daughter or force her. Be a good dad.

1st dibs ST holders
2nd ST family and friends
3rd ST neighbours.
4th Non ST fans with sense

That should do it👍🏻
You missed the bit at the end where supporters argue which are the better .
The ST holders, the we go everywhere away fans, the I buy £xxxxx worth of stuff form the club shop, the we support the team not the Oystons 😉

Yep, everything's getting back to normal 👍🏻
Only Option 1 STs are the true elite.. 😉

They should be looking at more than 10k for the final, if the COVID rate stays down. Prob a lot safer to have more fans spread out in the grounds for the semis than congregating outside.

There’s no forcing her ! I think she’d enjoy the away matches though purely for the atmosphere. I’ve told her there’s pies and potentially a trip to Macdonalds on the way home so I may sway her into wearing Tangerine one day

Currenty capacity is 16,616* so that would allow 4154 spectators to be present. Say 5 % of STHs do not take up opportunity to attend that would leave 354 tickets available, the vast majority of which will no doubt go to sponsors, players, etc. There are not going to be many (if any) to go on general sale. Wouldn't be surprised that those that are available will be only for those who pay for corporate.

* this is the council certificated authority. There appears to be seating for around 17,300 but seem of this is not deemed usuable for safety or view reasons (eg front 2 rows of the East Stand, somes seats in the south east, etc). There may be an argument to be made that 25 % is more like 4300/4400 - gets in a couple of 100 more fans.

If we get hammered 5 - 0 at Oxford in the 1st leg, you all might be able to get 3 or 4 tickets each!

As much as I'd love to be at Bloomfield Rd next Friday or Wembley (if we get there) if I don't get a ticket it's not the end of the world.🤷‍♂️

In 1991 when we got there it nearly cost me my marriage and if wizzling No1 hadn't have arrived the day before we lost against Torquay it probably would have done. I was adamant I was going to the match, my reason? Because Blackpool wont be at Wembley for at least another 40 years !!!

We're in difficult/ strange times and under normal circumstances we'd all be in Bloomfield Rd on Friday and at Wembley on the 30th.
The thing is I understand loads need to have that "I'm there" experience but there will be other times.
If I dont get a ticket this time round I've already got a bbq lined up with a few others and we'll watch it and have a few beers 👍🏻
#utmp #BELIEVE
I think for match finals at big venues we have certainly had our share since 1991 and I’ve been lucky enough to witness them all.
Strange really because prior to 1991 all I wanted to do was see my team at Wembley
A bit like buses!

How is one supposed to read someone's post and realise it wasn't meant to be taken seriously?

Or do people post a follow up comment like yours when they realise their original post didn't go the way they want?
It’s called a bit of banter but obviously quite a few people don’t have a sense of humour.
And FYI, the replies went exactly as expected (except for Mosser who saw it for what it was)

How many will be available for hospitality.
There may be 300 or so allocated and probably around 3800 availabilty for ST.

Season ticket holders of 5 years plus will get the priority.

As I've said all along this is a real shame.

Shouldn't have to be watching games like this from home or the pub.

Obviously the 4k season tickets holders get the nod. Didnt they stop selling at 4k also due to the circumstances.... so there would have been many more.

I was on tickets all last season, didn't end up missing a game in the end, will have spent more than a st price, was going to go thr ticket route again this season, but didn't know about what I could attend, but it is what it is.

I wonder if the vociferous lads in the north stand will have ST's, a lot of youngsters i imagine are on tickets but may be wrong. Certainly without them and of course me 😉 in the north it won't reach the crazy atmospheres we can create. A real shame.

Still annoyed at the government on this one 'following the science'.... absolutely no scientific reason a stadium couldn't have had a few thousand fans spread out on in before now and even less reason now.

We had silly situations like people at a funfair at Northampton behind the pitch but not allowed safely spread out, outside in a stadium wheres its managed.

Also now we have fans who will be outside the stadium not following social distancing when they could be inside where it would be more controlled and followed much more and surely much 'safer'.

But yes the 'science is being followed'. 🙄 🤡

They could have been smart about it and allowed in the 4k plus any vaccinated people and people with negative tests etc.

Anyway, am not bitter.....

Enjoy it to those who go an get behind the lads.

You do sound bitter

You do sound bitter
Do you get the irony of my remark...... well done 🙄

Of course i and the majority not going will be wanting to be there, as will most the fans attending would want the rest to be there.

The place should be bouncing and full for such an occasion and it would help build the fanbase for the future.

But yeah, sorry for being disappointed we can't be there 🙄

Season ticket neighbours wizzerboy?
Am I missing something here or are you saying that as my brother is a season ticket holder this year that his neighbour Ernie should get a ticket for Oxford, I’ve been a season ticket holder for years apart from the oyston boycott & Ernie who doesn’t even like football will be allowed in?
If that’s the case then Ernie may let’s say be involved in a hit & run incident and I shall buy his house if you involve the police I know where you live- be warned

People think the Pandemic is over....its not by a long shot....whichever way the club distribute the tickets....I hope its to fans who have been vaccinated either once or both times or can prove by test they dont have covid on day of match and everyone to wear a mask....looking at the scenes outside bloomers on Sunday...hardly a mask to been seen....and people still wonder why we have lock downs.

1st Dibs: people called Neil
2nd Dibs: AKA ‘Retro’
3rd Dibs: made up usernames beginning with Tangerine
4th Dibs: people who still use “Dibs”
😁

I think all tickets for the home leg should ONLY be offered to the members of BSA, they “Just want to watch their team”
Most of their members went to the 2017 Play-Off Final which was more than the likes of TAM Blood Kudo Mark GT Mosser & ME could be “bothered”doing 🍄 🍄🍄🍄🍄
🚌#88 ( 🤣)

You should probably stay at home. Stay safe.

There will be a spike soon from the Rangers fans celebrations, from the Sarah Everard vigil, from the Lockdown protests, from the Kill the Bill protests, from the people outside Bloomfield Rd....

Spoiler: None of the above have caused any spikes. Outdoor transmission is minimal if at all.

Can you answer me this, if you only want people who have had the vaccine to go the match, or people to have a test on the day to prove they don’t have Covid, why would you then still want everyone to wear a mask? Is it masks for life? What’s the end game?

It should be 4,000 ST Holders, any left over from the ST holders that can’t go can go on general sale. For those who are scared just watch it on Sky.

Bit difficult this one re vaccines ,my lad 20yrs has season ticket but not had vaccine yet so are you saying he shouldnt be allowed ticket coz he,s not had a jab yet even though its not his fault that they havnt reached his age yet ,as long as he does a test and it is negative then should be no problem

He will be fine to go and he won’t have to take a test.

I've not yet been vaccinated yet some want to only admit those who have into the ground while sat outside meanwhile in that time I'll have been shopping, to the pub and out for something to eat total and utter garbage.

I’ve been vaccinated twice, but I can still transmit the virus. The vaccine works so can we all calm down and just get on with it. 0 deaths yesterday out of 67,000,000 people. It’s over.

It is crazy how people think. There’s people who probably think there should be lateral flow test stations on the entrances to Stanley Park gates.

“You’re fine to come in but can you make sure your dog wears his mask properly”...
