The usual bullshit but coming from her zero credibility. So she wants to create a high wage economy and encourage growth, giving an uplift to parts of the country that are less wealthy, all very commendable and she will do it by spending less and public services will be as good or better! That's impossible!!

Unless she resigns, rules will have to be changed to allow a “coronation” which would apparently lead to two candidates, with one dropping out by arrangement.

I ca't ever remember a worse uninspiring speech ever by a politician never mind a PM. She’s toast after that and doubt she’ll see the weekend through.

She's certainly on life support, the prime minister with the total shortest period in office was George Canning, whose sole term lasted 119 days I can see that record being trashed, oh in his defence he actually died.

It would be probably wise for the big hitters to avoid the leadership at the moment. Whoever takes over has got a shit deal. That compounds the Tory problem. They need credibility but credibility is in short supply and the that which they have is probably going to want to stay well away as leading a divided party towards a likely defeat is unlikely to be good for their long term prospects.
