You can be in the Conference and play attacking football. The manager sets up the team and sets the tone. We played safety first football for most of the season and got what we deserved.

I can’t lie. He showed glimpses of talent when he was with us but I never expected him to make it at the top of the game. Didn’t help being in a struggling side with duff managers. Good luck to him.

Thing is, there were times when he could have made a difference. The Charlton game I think where we were drawing with 20 mins the go and Dembele was knackered. He might of helped us get the win. An extra point here and there would of made a big difference to our season
