If this was us and the nobbers I'd want us to win if the champions league place was up for grabs. Anything else and nothing riding on it I'd want us to lose to stop them. I'd be cheering the goals going in.
I'll excuse Luton a little bit but Sheff Utd and Burnleys efforts this season have been pathetic. Burnley should have ditched Kompany months ago. They'll probably start slow ish next season and he'll be gone quickly.
Even the speakers given up. Let Sunak completely ignore a question and then let him ask Starmer one. He's been pulled about that in the past but Hoyle let it slide, all his power gone as well .
What actually happened who knows but it was going to happen and didn't. Massive mistake not to get it over the line , for me as sure a thing as you could get at the time of being a successful appointment. How they can listen to Rosenior and eventually give it to Appleton is ridiculous. A...
LR will go on to bigger and better things than Hull City. I was gutted when he seemed nailed on for us and it didn't happen. Major turning point for us as a club and probably the first really poor decision from SS. He's made some more since but that started it all off.
It will be interesting to see how Wrexham develop. They are obviously looking to be a global brand with the TV thing but Phil has suggested a few times on here that they could be the club of Wales with a big catchment area. Maybe with a tinge of anti English ?
That's open to debate. Bigger but not much bigger. Owen was Owen but Karl was nasty with it. His kids brought up the same and with an attitude to wind up and antagonise the fans. Owen would have never chopped the Morty statue off at the legs and throw it in a shed and blame the fans. He was a...
The players were obviously not as good as the early form suggested and maybe it masked a lot. They have to take a lot of the responsibility but as usual it's all blamed on managers and the owner. Blackburn stayed up by the skin of their teeth and Eustace has hardly set the world alight there so...
I used to do a lot of running and races. We often used the term 'out like a lion , in like a lamb '. Basically it was about starting too fast and ending up limping home knackered.
Often reminds me of PNE 🙂
I hope SS solves his problems and stays because I do think he has the right intentions with us.
Reading this board I can't for the life of me understand why anyone would want to buy us with all the negative criticism that comes it's way while losing a lot of money for the privilege.
