I think a bid for Grimmy is very likely, he's had a very good season.
If the offer is right, I don't expect us to fend off the bid,
That's fair enough, the model being to sell for profit
In July 22, Grimmy signed a 3 +1 (seems like good business)
23
21 home league games (missed Stevenage and Cheltenham due to holidays)
Forest at home in the Cup replay, brilliant game.
Only Wigan away this season, well done to those who travelled to our away matches this season.
The Northampton keeper time-wasted from the kick off, taking over a minute for every goal kick, they came for a draw and Hubby gifted them a winner after Rhodes's headed equaliser. That said, we were shite that night.
Derby just sat back and kept their shape, and caught us on the break. That...
The Running Grave by Robert Galbraith (J K Rowling), a Strike novel
I usually watch a TV series after having read the books, but the Strike series was pretty good so I'm giving the new book a try
It's 945 pages long, enjoying it 200 pages in.
Having read this thread, I think I'll give a Ken...
Good post, but I wouldn't hold your breath on Critch refining or changing the 3 5 2 at all.
I just hope he can identify and sign the players comfortable playing in that formation (ASAP) during the summer
There is an opportunity for a reset anyway, as several out of contract players could be...
Good summaries, shame about the closing paragraph.
As some have posted, there's little evidence of "team spirit and playing style"
They've sometimes looked like strangers during matches, even at home on the odd occasion. Wayward passes followed by players waving their arms at each other in...
1. Dembele
2. Rhodes
3. Excellent performance v Forest in the cup
4. One of the best home records I've seen over the course of a season
Won 14 drawn 6 lost 3 (GD +24)
Some of the wins weren't great, but o/p said positive comments only.
Agree about Joseph, he either drifts to the left side or he starts there. I was willing him to have a good game when he got a place in the starting 11 yesterday in what I expected to be a more central position.
But his heavy touch when Dembele put him through was poor and allowed the keeper to...
Yes x 2
I go to the games with my lad (doesn't post on here), it might depend on price with him.
A payment in installments option would be a very good idea imo.
Yes I think he's one of our better tacklers, and in a back 4 he's a championship level RB (just my opinion). He just isn't a RWB, he's better as support/overlap for a right winger in my view.
However he is rather injury prone, and it's not just his good tackling. We lost several months of him...
I think that he was a very good player for us until his hamstring injury at home to T'Rovers in the Championship.
Since then , he's lost a yard of pace, which was his best attribute.
Sadly, he's been unable to recover that yard (so far), to the extent that he's being closed down by L1 defenders...
An exciting "get you out of your seat" player. I've posted a couple of times that he's a joy to watch when he's on form.
A bit more consistency and he'll make an upper championship player next season.
As already posted, a bright spot in an otherwise disappointing season
Ive voted yes
At the start of the season, I felt (rightly or wrongly) that anything below 6th would be a failure on Critch's part. But to lose a must win game (which obviously would have put us 6th) with a whimper like that is beyond frustrating and disappointing.
All season, he's seemingly...
I thought there was a foul on Joseph before their attack, but overall we're getting what we deserve here.
70 minutes coming up, got to go for it now???
We needed our last home game to be at home, we're so ** shite away
Sadly I agree about a lot of the first half, although he started well with the assist.
I really want him to do well, but his first touch was poor when Dembele put him through
