I'd say Ekpiteta and Husband can move along now - i can't put up with comedy defending anymore.

critchley might ask for players - but it's the recruitment team who have failed to bring them in - we are weak in so many areas

Agree our achilles heel all season has been our defence - other teams have bigger, faster defenders who can actually play a bit as well. The one thing that McCarthy did get right was the defence and if Goode had stayed fit who knows what might have happened.

And yet we’ve consistently failed against said teams away from home .. hence why we are 8th .. perplexed

Our entire defence is rubbish said it so many times ..conceding soft goals so often this season ..

We are clearly a team in transition - and it takes time to get the right personnel. Think we've had a lot of crap luck this season and we've also been poor in areas we need to strengthen. Stick or twist - i'd still say there are much much worse managers out there than Mr Critchley.

Keep saying it we needed a big defender who is comfortable on the ball in the transfer window ... without a solid defence we are going nowhere and currently we are just shipping simple goals on a regular basis. From the transfer window looks like we did try to sign one - so it's obvious that...

Looks a decent player and well regarded by the Burnley youth setup - you never know!

All i can say is i hope we win ... the amount of chances we are creating bodes well, we just need to remember how to finish!

with the number of comedy goals that we've conceded - including so many simple route one efforts - it's where i'd be looking first - we are going to struggle to make the playoffs with the leaky back end we currently have.

Shocked that we haven't brought in a decent central defender yet - Santos for Bolton was exactly what we needed - big, powerful, quick (beat Lavery for pace), good positioning and assured on the ball. If we had someone like that we probably wouldn't have conceded so many comedy poor goals this...

Sadly the sort of player we needed as well - just a shame he got injured as he was definitely a decent player. Our weakness is still our defence and without an Evatt/Keogh character in there we are going to continually struggle.

Can never ever fault his effort .. still believe there is a player in there somewhere .. he may come back and surprise us! Good luck Dom
