Cotterill in intensive care

Wish him all the best. Always remember having a chat with him when he was the manager of Cheltenham and they were doing a training session on Claremont Park. prior to playing us in the afternoon. He was asking me all about Brett and Murphs, although I'm pretty sure he knew all he needed to know about them.

To be honest, I'm surprised no football player or manager hasn't yet suffered more seriously from this dreaded disease.

Claremont park. Wow, that's a blast. The pitches were dog ruff. The Library one was not only dog ruff, but dog poo. The other, slightly better. More enclosed with trees on 3 sides- felt like a stadium when you were 8, or 18.

I only played on there once, and it was like playing on ankle deep treacle.

Indeed. When we were kids the choice was Claremont Park or Claremont school front lawn. The lawn won despite the hazards of, on occasion the Police or the gardener would would come by to check. I can only now appreciate how sliding tackles weren't welcomed on manicured grass.

Just shows, with all the testing, bubbles etc. no one is beyond it’s reach. Be careful folks, keep your distance, keep safe. We lost too many supporters last year we want all we lose this year to die of old age.
