Anyone else concerned if we don't add a few for tomorrow?

Not really, chances are if anyone does arrive before tomorrow they'd only be on the bench anyway.
I'd prefer to wait until the right kind of player is identified and then signed instead of just signing another promising kid that isn't much better than who we currently have in the squad already
 
If Ballard is injured then yes we should be concerned as we have only one centre half available.

we also appear to have no wingers either.

That's what you have 20+ players in a squad for, if your back up ain't very good or you have to play someone out of position it happens that why your the manager to make such descions.

If Ballard’s not fit then that’s a worry as either Husband or Turton would likely have to fill in.

We need to be really selective this window, bring in a CB a creative midfielder and a striker. We can’t afford more dead wood. To that end has anyone ever asked the club what exactly are Sarkic and Williams doing at the moment?

Rather wait a short while and get the best options in we can, still a long, long way to go in the season (providing the season can be completed😪) we will get at least a couple in I’m sure let’s just hope they can make an immediate and bigger impact on the starting team than recent additions have contributed.
 
No, chill out.

Shortages like this force the manager to try something slightly different, and I would love to see some of the players in what they consider their best position, rather than where NC thinks they fit into his playbook.

I would love to see at least one of our youngsters get some game time, if we never play them, why do we bother to train them?
 
Play Gabriel on the right midfield/wing. Fast, has a decent cross on him and did a great run into the box against Hull on Saturday when he came on.

If both Ballard and Gretarson are out then that is concerning. Thorniley is still in the squad though who is a ready made centre half.
 
No. We've got super Jordan Thorniley and the whippet Howe waiting in the wings for their chance.

We should have more than enough to put a decent team on the pitch even without them!

We're hardly at getting Neil Bailey out of retirement levels yet. We've got a few knocks, we've got a squad of players and some decent youth players. Let's use the squad and the kids on the bench if we need to.

One man's injury crisis is the start or restart of another mans career.
 
We’ve a massive squad with strength in depth and a whole team of players signed in the basis of their supposed versatility. These next few games provide a platform for fringe players and maybe even a few youngsters to impress in training, earn a place in the matchday squad and then justify their inclusion. If they don’t take an opportunity like this then they don’t deserve to be here. Critch and his team will be patient I reckon. There’s still plenty of deals to be done and we’re not bargain basement shopping like in the past. We’re a desirable location now.
 
I can't believe other clubs aren't in the same boat anyway and we have a large squad. That said, it does sound like CJ and Greitarsson are out long-term so we may have to get loans to cover. Centre-halves are fairly easy to find but Hamilton is a big loss to the way we want to play.
