Ask yourselves this question: what sort of absolute dunce would give a headless chicken a 3 year deal?
He wasn't excellent last week at all he was better than normal and today he didn't recognise what a football was and put his boots on the wrong feet.CJ is a confidence player and inconsistent.. didn't have a good game today but was excellent last week against Barnsley..
He at worst endorses them and if he cant see CJ is dogshite 9 times out of 10(being kind) we are well and truly fucked next season starting games with 9 outfield players again and again. The manager doesn't hand out contracts.....
This is a serious question. Is your eyesight ok?but I’ve never seen him give less than 100% for the shirt,
I think he’s only been to one game this season. Probably Barnsley at homeThis is a serious question. Is your eyesight ok?
That's it in a nutshell Chunky. At times his play is atrocious. However of all the players that attempted the wing back role, he has the most goals and most assists.
CJ has to be a bench player for us. It was no different in the past seasons. Bring him on in one of the front 3 or 4 positions with 20 mins left against tired defenders and get him to run fast and chase balls over the top.
Confirmation bias at its finest.Ask yourselves this question: what sort of absolute dunce would give a headless chicken a 3 year deal?
Good & Hamilton shouldn't be used in the same sentence. GutlessOn a message board there will be those who are unmovable. CJ is good dt our level.
Dear Simon,These threads aren't worth a serious reply, but why slaughter a player?
You could do that to them all- Grimmy can't control the area anywhere a yard further than his goalline. Husband can't pass the ball, certainly not 50 yards and is nowhere a LCB. Epo recovers more from his lack of positioning and should be fined for trying passes further than 5 feet. Penno goes AWOL far too often, Coulson is OK but not ours, Norburn can't tackle, head or pass, Byers is Ok but not ours, Carey has a good couple of games then reverts to type- a headless chicken, Dembele, err, you know what's next, Joseph, I mean what is he? Not a clue myself, Beesley needs to get lead fitted in the front of his boots 'cos he's always on his heels. Lavery, whilst a wasp can't score because he's not a striker.
Of course, I don't believe the above but there are elements in there.
Moral is leave the players alone and judge them when a proper actual manager is in place.
Yours
Simon
Oh, right - I see ... And what about the countless fixtures pre-Barnsley, in which he 'treated' long-suffering fans to an unremitting sequence of wholly forgettable displays, stretching back years, and which I don't, for one minute, think will feature too highly in their own personal psychological back-catalogue of treasured memories to pour over in the months and years ahead ...CJ is a confidence player and inconsistent.. didn't have a good game today but was excellent last week against Barnsley..
He put in effort for a few weeks to earn a contract and then mailed it in.Ask yourselves this question: what sort of absolute dunce would give a headless chicken a 3 year deal?
You've 'never seen him give less than 100% for the shirt'? If treating us all to the odd burst of pace qualifies, for what is, in your book, evidence of CJ giving it 'his all', all I can say, in response, is: "Gawd help us ... "It seems on AFVTT, there always has to be a scapegoat player for the season - this season it’s CJ, last year it was Maxwell. I even recall GTF getting pelters on here, back in the day.
Sure CJ is inconsistent - that’s the nature of this kind of player. Surely the same could be said of pretty much everyone this season, but I’ve never seen him give less than 100% for the shirt, especially given the role he’s been asked to play.
This thread is hilarious, it’s right cheered me up.I was in the food queue at half time. I made the observation to my mate that you can tell if CJ is going to have a good game or a bad game within the first five minutes and if I was Critch I’d sub him off at the earliest opportunity.
The gent in front turned round and revealed that he was CJ‘s brother,
He also told me that he agreed with everything that I’d just said
Errr - sorry to p-ss on your chips, B-c-b-b, but CJ has been the target of abuse and vitriol from the home fans at Bloomers for as long as I can remember, and I've personally been subjecting him to pelters for ages and ages. Just to add further weight to my fiercely held viewpoint, I don't ever recall speaking to anyone who rates him either. It seems on AFVTT, there always has to be a scapegoat player for the season - this season it’s CJ, last year it was Maxwell. I even recall GTF getting pelters on here, back in the day.

That is the the most ridiculous statement I've heard on here. However I would've put money on it coming from you.He gets away with pathetic performances which you don't see from a single other Blackpool FC player. And yet people keep harping on about he's being played as a wing back.
He is the single worst Blackpool player in my lifetime that we've seen more than 30 games from.
Why do you find it necessary and not for the first time to hurl insults at fellow supporters who happen to hold different views from you? You've 'never seen him give less than 100% for the shirt'? If treating us all to the odd burst of pace qualifies, for what is, in your book, evidence of CJ giving it 'his all', all I can say, in response, is: "Gawd help us ... "
The guy is a complete con artist. Never gives less than 100%? What complete drivel, posted by one of the tiny band of followers who steadfastly refuses to pray anywhere other than at the altar of CJ. What a bunch of saddoes.
What CJ specialises in is giving fans the impression he is straining every sinew, during the course of matches. He is great at exhibiting 'angst' if a decision goes against him; he's got the required body language off to a fine art to back up the image he wishes to project, and, whilst such outburst are always wholly lacking in spontaneity, they're always guaranteed to attract the desired response from the more gullible elements to be found amongst the baying hordes of fans.
Superficial and shallow (along with non-tackling) are the words which best capture the essence of CJ, and the only ones who fail to notice this are the people who happen to share those same, most disagreeable of characteristics.
The question to ask is what sort of dunce plays one of the fastest wingers who can’t defend as a wing back . This failing was highlighted once again v Reading .Stop using Hamilton as a scapegoat you need to be looking at his boss . Used correctly Hamilton can be very effective one of several players that fall into this category . I wouldn’t dream of judging any of our current squad until we have a new manager, someone capable of establishing their strengths and weaknesses and using them accordingly to best effect.Ask yourselves this question: what sort of absolute dunce would give a headless chicken a 3 year deal?
