Absolutely useless! If anyone still thinks he’s anywhere near good enough, then you are deluded. Awful. Can’t finish, bad touch and slow.
Yes. An average trier. Like the rest of the team bar the loanees. He's not had enough of a run. I still think there's a player.
He’s gone backwards & currently looks like another Nuttall. He’s here next season so we’ll see if he actually does what we bought him to do. Preferably under a new manager. Dobbie inA lot of his trouble is his lack of pace and his speed off the mark. I do like how he fights and keeps or wins balls. Perhaps a good pre-season and a run of games is what he needs.
Hopefully that run of games will be at another club.A lot of his trouble is his lack of pace and his speed off the mark. I do like how he fights and keeps or wins balls. Perhaps a good pre-season and a run of games is what he needs.
Well put. He’s always on the wrong side of the fine margins!
Messi would be shoite playing in a team of CritchleysAbsolutely useless! If anyone still thinks he’s anywhere near good enough, then you are deluded. Awful. Can’t finish, bad touch and slow.
Remember them saying the same about Chris Malkin! He's not had enough of a run. I still think there's a player.
Rhodes can poach on instinct. Joseph can't.He set up the first goal but overall he's been a non goal scoring forward...
The fact is if Jordan Rhodes had stayed fit the playoffs would have been made ..
You’re welcome to have him!Lots of potential clearly not being well utilised, much like Dale to be honest. Unfair to throw players under the bus when clearly there’s larger issues at play. Would happily have him back at Oxford.
PLEASE tell me what the asst coaches do all day. Hard cop Good cop scenario. As a well qualified coach, NC has a good reputation. Why hasn't he & his two trusted assistants been able to develop & iron out the weaknesses of KJ?
There must be a good player in there somewhere. Maybe a new manager and decent coaching assistants would make him into the player that he could be?
Excellent at Wigan and Oxford? One in four? Not exactly prolific! It's like groundhog day on this board sometimes. He IS a good player and he CAN finish. He's done it before. Was excellent at Wigan, Oxford, who just beat us to the playoffs, really rated him and wanted him back. He's not done it for us this season but that doesn't mean he can't. It's not football manager, it's real life with humans who are affected by lots of things.
I'm going to use an obvious example to make my.point in the absence of a whiteboard to draw a you a picture - Stephen Crainey - I worked in Leeds when we signed him and to a man, Leeds fans told me he was a useless waste of space. We're they right?? No they were not.
He’s not an out and out goal scorer but will work his socks off which in turn creates chances for those around him. I saw he setup your first today…Excellent at Wigan and Oxford? One in four? Not exactly prolific!
Sadly not good enough. Swansea did a number on us there.
He might work his socks off but he has very limited ability. Give me a lazy bastard that scores 20 a season every time. He’s not an out and out goal scorer but will work his socks off which in turn creates chances for those around him. I saw he setup your first today…
Very good description! He set up the first goal but overall he's been a non goal scoring forward...
I saw him play a few times for Wigan, and yes he was excellent and only 18. I didn't see him for Oxford much but as I say, those who did seem to suggest he did well. He's only 22 now yet written off based on an injury interrupted season in a team who don't create much for the strikers.Excellent at Wigan and Oxford? One in four? Not exactly prolific!
.....and managed by CritchleyHe's only 22 now yet written off based on an injury interrupted season in a team who don't create much for the strikers.
TrueMessi would be shoite playing in a team of Critchleys
Agreed but where were the coaching sessions to improve both his pace and ball control? Not improved all season.A lot of his trouble is his lack of pace and his speed off the mark. I do like how he fights and keeps or wins balls. Perhaps a good pre-season and a run of games is what he needs.
Is that Dale no goals no assists?Lots of potential clearly not being well utilised, much like Dale to be honest. Unfair to throw players under the bus when clearly there’s larger issues at play. Would happily have him back at Oxford.
Rhodes has twelve plus years of experience, i think this is Joseph's first full season really and started with him recovering from injury. not really had much of a run of games. Theres a player in there.Rhodes can poach on instinct. Joseph can't.
same could be said of our whole attacking effort. its not looked coherent all season, they dont seem to know when to run, when not to, what direction etc etc1 league goal playing infront of a playmaker like dembele. Enough said case closed.
Apart from Rhodes, it goes for the rest of them too but this is a thread about joseph.same could be said of our whole attacking effort. its not looked coherent all season, they dont seem to know when to run, when not to, what direction etc etc
