The shuttle bus from the main station takes 10 mins!Love to have gone but no train station near the stadium and a 40 minute bus from the station to the ground. Sod that
There a new station opened called Reading Green Park. It's on the line from Reading to Basingstoke and is about 25 mins walk (or wheel) to the ground. You'll have to forgive me - I don't know what is considered a long way in a chair.Love to have gone but no train station near the stadium and a 40 minute bus from the station to the ground. Sod that
Could probably just manage there and back without running out of juice. I’ll have a look at train times and pricesThere a new station opened called Reading Green Park. It's on the line from Reading to Basingstoke and is about 25 mins walk (or wheel) to the ground. Reading Green Park station is near the ground . Trains every half hour from Reading station .Love to have gone but no train station near the stadium and a 40 minute bus from the station to the ground. Sod that
Google maps say it is a 30min walk and there isn't even a pub stop along the route. It's actually quicker to get the bus from the main station.Reading Green Park station is near the ground . Trains every half hour from Reading station .
17k sold sounds like they are Planning a pitch invasion ie tennis balls, Let's hope this is not the case.Just spoken to my cousin who’s head of commercial at Reading, 17,000 home tickets sold so far as well. So it should be a good atmosphere.
We're playing at Reading not Wimbledon!17k sold sounds like they are Planning a pitch invasion ie tennis balls, Let's hope this is not the case.
Yeh through the park n over that foot bridgeit's only 1 mile from Reading Green Park. Google maps doesn't show the shortcuts. Onthego map is the best website and it says about 0.95 mile direct to the away end which is about 15 mins for me.
There are buses at the station to go the direct to the groundLove to have gone but no train station near the stadium and a 40 minute bus from the station to the ground. Sod that
Indeed there are and it's more like 20mins than 40.There are buses at the station to go the direct to the ground
Lots of them too, both ways. It's by far the best of the out of town stadiums in that regard. Not like Chesterfield, or Shrewsbury, where they seem to make it as hard as possible for away fans to get there. There are buses at the station to go the direct to the ground
1700 as of today great effort.Says on reading site Blackpool bringing 2000
So could be more if it’s pay on the gates
Excellent effort. Gutted I’ve gotta work.
For those going as always be LOUD and Proud and cheer on the mighty to a Win

Fans need to get their facts right before spouting it ain't a fiver increase.
The game was discontinued for our Season Ticket holders by £5 that privilege rightly so,goes if you
Well the club got it wrong. No one’s spouting. The club tweeted there was a £5 uplift on adult prices and £3 on concessions.
I think you might be surprised. Been pretty decent the last 2-3 seasons and we have been on a downer for most of that . Actually since the playoff defeat in 2017A 20K crowd would be good but don't expect too much atmosphere from their fans. I don't think I've ever seen them generate one and that includes a few games I watched when they were in the Prem. Hopefully we will beat them and they'll be extra quiet on Saturday!
Hopefully it will be a decent atmosphere, it's something I level at most clubs with soulless stadiums in the middle of nowhere. I genuinely hope you get new owners, having lived in West Berkshire for 18 years I worked with a few Reading fans.I think you might be surprised.
